Eventually, I was called back for my X-rays, and the dental assistant was very kind and professional. The receptionist also did her job well. After that, I waited for the dentist. She came into the room and, after several minutes, introduced herself. When I explained that I was there for my scheduled cleaning, she told me they did not have anyone available to perform it. This was extremely disappointing because I had already adjusted my work schedule and arrived late to work specifically for this appointment. She then offered to do the cleaning herself, which I initially appreciated. However, I was told I would have to wait another 1 hour and 45 minutes. At that point, I realized my time was not being respected, so I decided to leave. I left feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected. The overall experience made me feel as though I was treated differently, and that is not how any patient should leave a healthcare office. As a proud Dominican and a naturalized U.S. citizen, I believe every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. I hope this office reviews its scheduling practices and ensures that future patients are treated with the consideration and respect they deserve.

They still discharged me for possessing it. Even though I had no idea it was in there. When I told them I wanted to see a document containing patient rights and company policy, they declined and acted like they had no idea what I meant by 'their company policy'. Which is illegal. Thankfully though, I got ahold of a copy in nursing and reasons for dismissal are as follows: (Sexual involvement with anyone other than one spouse, drinking alcoholic beverages, and chemical drug abuse are not permitted at Valley hope facilities and will constitute reasons for grounding and or dismissal from the facility). Now, I had not used any substance or broke any of these rules. So, once I leave will be taking an observed drug test, and when it comes back negative.
