I was recommended by a friend to go to Team Iowa after having lower bank pain for over a month…read more From the minute I entered the Team Iowa facility to the last day of physical therapy the staff was nothing but welcoming and determined to get me feeling better and back to my normal activity level. Joe was my physical therapist and he was nothing short of professional and approachable. From the start he communicated a very clear plan of attack and made sure i understand that regardless of what was done in the Team Iowa offices I had to make sure to do my exercises at home. With Joe's plan, i was feeling better within 2 weeks and back fully exercising and running without any pain in 6 weeks. If you are in need of physical therapy for any reason Team Iowa is the place to go.

The life I have now,…read morewhere I run around all day, do my favorite physical activities whenever I want, and move without pain wouldn't be possible if not for the year of work I did with Kris and her coworkers at ToYL. The scientific approach with body measurements and specific exercises *completely relieved my lower back pain* WITH NO SURGERY despite my top-heaviness. As our work together continued, the shoulders/neck pain I've had for TWO DECADES is at its lowest level ever despite my fibromyalgia. I'm so grateful for everything we did together even though trust me, I'm usually the first to complain! Kris is a phenomenal, non-judgmental listener and I really grew as a human by internalizing her compassionate approach to physical awareness and self-care. I want to briefly mention that although weight loss was not my goal, once I implemented some dietary changes, I lost roughly 50lbs and *TWELVE DRESS SIZES* thanks to the foundation built by my work with ToYL.
