Then, the person makes a tentative appointment and says someone will call to get the insurance information and confirm. So I asked what if nobody calls. She said don't worry because they don't charge for missed appointments. I found that to be unusually good service so I confirmed it. She said that she knows other places do that, but they don't do it there. Then, days went by and nobody called. Then suddenly I received a text saying I had an appointment the next day, and to reply to confirm, and that if I miss my appointment, I'll be charged! This was so rude! And the opposite of what the person I talked to said. So I texted back saying that I don't have an appointment. I received a response saying they don't receive incoming texts! So they texted me asking for a response, but they don't receive responses! So I had to call to cancel the appointment that I didn't have! Then another long wait on hold. Then the person told me they do charge for missed appointments, and the previous representative gave me incorrect information. So I asked who the person was who scheduled an appointment that I didn't make, and gave me incorrect information. She said they don't know who she was. They don't have records of that! Then she kept asking me if I want to keep my appointment, after I repeatedly told her that I don't have one, and can't come at that time. She kept repeating the same question. Finally I hung up. Good riddance to this place

Giovanna, the "holds it all together person," is very competent and attentive to the details of the entire operation. The therapists - Brian, Glen and Jamie are professional, friendly and have good senses of humor. As a result, I have looked forward to my sessions and did not feel in any way that they were a chore I had to endure. I have never been able to describe therapy as fun, but that is what my sessions were. I have benefited tremendously from their treatments. I improved, not only in original script for treatment, but additionally am enjoying the benefits of the unexpected improvements. I introduced to different therapy modalities I had not experienced before and was impressed at their creativity in the challenges they used to keep me progressing well without being subjected to challenges they didn't think I could handle. Lastly, anticipating my needs was something beyond my expectations. So, I highly recommend Ivy Physical Therapy and will definitely use their services any time in the future. Thank you to everyone at Ivy Physical Therapy.

It’s tough with the uncertainty of injuries and not knowing truly how the recovery process will go. The team at Amity had a strong plan and we worked weekly, to get my strength and mobility back to pre-surgery status. The character and fellowship of the people in the clinic is second to none, and it actually made me a little upset knowing I was done with PT and going back home. I’m extremely grateful for my time at Amity and I would recommend it to anyone interested.

As a result, my doctor prescribed 12 weeks of physical therapy for me. After being dissatisfied with the therapy services I was receiving from my initial physical therapy provider, I decided to check out other physical therapists in my area. A family friend said she had heard good things about the Amity Physical Therapy Office that had recently opened in Wallingford, and recommended that I check them out. That was all I needed to hear. The next day I booked my first physical therapy appointment with them. While the Wallingford facility itself is bright and squeaky clean with a very contemporary vibe, the thing that really impressed me was the staff. They were much more friendly and welcoming than the first place I had gone to. Warren and DJ set the tone with a very professional and personable approach to their patients. It was clear to me that the truly care about delivering quality physical therapy services to their patients. After working with Warren and DJ and their staff for twelve weeks, the strengthening and stretching program they designed for me accomplished all the objectives I was hoping for. My lumbar pain is gone and the numbness and tingling in my left leg has greatly subsided. As a result, my walking and standing stamina has increased. Even my wife notices that I am moving better now than before I began going to Amity Physical Therapy. My thanks go out to Warren and DJ and the entire team at Amity Physical Therapy of Wallingford for all their efforts on my behalf. Based on my experience with them, I would highly recommend Amity Physical Therapy of Wallingford for anyone in need of physical therapy services.

It was so light that I couldn't even feel it. That was it. No exercises no guidance on stretching or anything. So I decided to take my therapy to a place where I could get real help . After not booking any more appointments with dynamic health I had to ask them to stop calling me to reschedule more appointments- I explained that I was not getting any relief from someone lightly laying a finger on my arm/ my arm I'm talking not even my rotator cuff area. I was told what they were doing was holistic medicine. It was not effective at all...it was a waste of time and money. The was no work out equipment here or anything. It seemed like a complete scam. Today I had my first visit with Sports Medicine in Avon on Dale road & it was amazing!!!! The woman spent a hour and a half with me evaluating me , giving me heat and deep tissue massages. She then worked with me on exercises and stretching to increase my strength, flexibility and range. If you are looking for serious rehabilitative therapy I would avoid Dynamic Health .

Last year I went to a different group where I rarely had the same therapist. I was in a large room with no privacy and often left without guidance or attention. This does not happen with Dominic. Because of insurance I had not seen him for many years. It got to the point where I didn't care if I had to pay out of pocket so I returned to the group and Physical Therapist who had helped me after several surgeries. At this place you get care from the same person each time so you don't have to explain what is going on with a new person all the time. There are public and private rooms which makes the experience more comfortable. Dominic knows what he is doing. I don't feel like he is giving me a cookie cutter plan. He really listens. He has been able to help me figure out where some really awful pain was originating from and addressing it properly. He watches and is attentive for each session as opposed to other places where a therapist had more than one patient at a time and often didn't remember what you were supposed to be there for. I am so lucky to be back in his care. My pain level has significantly decreased and I am able to increase and resume activities I thought might be lost to me forever. I am also grateful that they are now taking my insurance plan. I don't worry that I may actually get injured by my physical therapy as had happened several times in the past with other places. It is so nice to trust the person you are working with. This is the first time in many years that I have hope for leading a less painful life and resuming things that broke my heart to give up. Richard is an amazing physical therapist and is kind, patient, and knowledgeable and checks in with me each session to thoughtfully understand progress and any changes he should make to the plan. He combines various methods to give my injury/body what will help the most and helps me understand the what and why. I came to Richard after a very painful backpacking trip where I injured both ankles (Oh, how the swelling made my ankles disappear!) and had low back pain that was making it hard to walk comfortably. I knew I needed help healing, but I didn't understand what a very skilled and 'big picture/whole picture thinking' physical therapist could do. After just a month, I've been blown away at the results and process - he actually gave me hope that the pain I'd been dealing with would eventually be gone and I'd be even healthier and stronger than before! While I was convinced quickly to work with him I did want to understand my options before choosing a therapist so at the end of my first session, he told me listen, if you do decide to go somewhere else for PT and all they do is tell you to stretch your calves to heal the ankle, you should leave/don't go back to them. It is like he predicted the future, I went to [insert PT company name here] and all they told me was to stretch each calf for 2 minutes a day and come back in a week...I was already sold but just had to laugh at how clearly Richard's years of experience came through.
