Great space, nice people who love the animals there. I picked up Pepper after Mykala was finished and was so impressed! She shaved her down just like I asked her to. Left her head and tail fluffy! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Doggywood. I made reservations a month in advance…read morefor both of my dogs and sent in all vaccination records ahead of time. Despite this, when I arrived after driving all the way from Florida over the holiday, they claimed they had no information at all on my second dog--even though I submitted everything together. On top of that, they told me one of the vaccinations was "outdated," but this was due to a simple clerical error from our vet (who had seen both dogs right before our trip). What frustrated me most is that Dollywood never reviewed the records or contacted me beforehand to clarify anything. If they had actually looked at the documents they requested, I could have had the vet correct it easily before our visit. Instead, after weeks of planning and hours of driving, I was left dealing with an issue that should have been addressed well before we arrived. Incredibly frustrating and very unprofessional on Doggywood's part. I will not be using their services again.

I am absolutely thrilled with the job they did on my Husky. I called and talked with them and told…read morethem that he had got out of our yard and had a romp thru the woods where he picked up lots of burrs and stickers. Suzi told me to bring him on in and they would take care of him. I was so worried that they would have to cut his hair! He has a gorgeous thick coat and any cuts would show. They cleaned him up and patiently removed every single one WITHOUT hair loss!! I will never take him anywhere else. They all treated him like he was theirs. He was HAPPY and I was Happy!!! My family (My mom, wife, daughter(17) and son (13) and I were traveling from Oklahoma City to Dauphin Island for vacation. We stopped midway in Shreveport. After researching things to do, my wife happened on to Steve's Snaketuary. We called not really knowing what to expect. My daughter and I are the only snake lovers. My mom is terrified, my wife has a strong dislike, and our son doesn't mind them as long as they are not close(at all). We met Steve at the Snaketuary, Steve was awesome! We had a great, great time. EVEN my wife and my mom loved it! My wife actually held a snake and my mom to my surprise (remember she is terrified, literally freaked out terrified) she even held a snake!!!!!! That's how great Steve and Patricia were. On the way to the hotel it was mentioned more than a few times, what a great time it was. They have ALOT of different snakes and the personal interaction was amazing. I rarely take the time to leave reviews but this experience I had to pass on to others.
