Yup, you read that correctly. These phallic desserts are sold in practically all the local bakeries and coffee shops. They're similar to a deep fried churro, but usually covered with a sugar glaze. Unfortunately, the one I had here was quite dry inside, despite the sugar coated topping. I touched some that a street vendor was selling, and they were really hard. No pun intended, so stop thinking like that! Since I'm a virgin to these Penis Cakes, I don't know how they should actually taste, but I wouldn't get one again, at least not from here. These Penis Cakes are apparently given to single women from single men. They're also popular during certain festivals the town holds.

There's a separate area to sit inside and several tables outside. The bakery itself is takeout only so if you want to eat, grab a seat and wait to be served. Go inside to pay (and remember your table number). - Pastel de nata (1,35€) - wasn't warmed up but it was more eggy and a touch creamy. Closest that we tried to a dan tat. - Passion fruit tart (2,70€) - real passion fruit seeds. Nice but the base was too thick. - Meringue - Mini carrot tart - Mini almond tart - Almond cookie The mini tarts is the way to go (all four items were 1,60€) so you can try multiple things.
