We moved our business headquarters to the Brenham area in 2020. The pandemic was an issue I'm sure, but these folks are the absolute worst at responding, and the least professional when they finally do that I've ever dealt with. And I've used CPA firms for over 30 years. We tried for over 45 days to get them to have a meeting with us and finally gave up. They have too much business and have lost their zeal. Sorry guys. read more

This firm has been a Godsend for my family! From tax and estate planning to managing tasks for my parents as they aged, Seitel & Schroeder has exceeded all reasonable expectations for a CPA firm. A special note of appreciation goes out to Amanda Stolz and Ann Pape especially. Each of these women have breached the normal paradigm and extended to a watchdog / advocate role at times. Ignore the review below, our involvement with this firm extends beyond that two year old complaint. read more

This has been a terrible firm, they charge each month for services not rendered. The books for my company were over six months behind, yet the company still charged every month for services not rendered. When the lack of professionalism was brought to the attention of the partners, one of which was a founding partner, the firm discontinued services. I was a customer for over two years, and when I questioned why my books were so behind they conveniently decided the relationship wasn't working. Be careful if you trust your financial accounting needs to this group. read more

We have done business with this company since 2001. I have no reservations in recommending this accounting firm for all your accounting needs. We have complete trust in their accounting abilities whether you are an individual or a large company. The staff is very cordial and friendly when I call or come into the office. If I have a question on taxes or a venture I am considering they usually have an answer and if they are not familiar with the subject. They will find the answer. Billy Holle was our go to CPA for over 20 years and we wish him well on his retirement. We are looking forward to continuing on with Cody Boeker in the years to come. This company is a quality company and keeps all of it's client information safe guarded. We have complete confidence in them handling our accounting needs. read more

Their costs continue to go up! I get businesses increase costs but it seems they equal the costs to your potential refund if any. We are paying $800 for a simple return this year but never again! Next year we are going somewhere relse. Maybe they only want company clients? but we've been loyal clients for years. read more
