What I appreciate most is that she takes the time to look at the whole picture. When needed, she's connected me with other specialists and helped me build the right team so I could make informed decisions with confidence. I've sought information through various third-party women's health companies, but none have come close to the depth, thoughtfulness, and individualized care that Dr. Prabakar provides. I'm learning that HRT is rarely straightforward, and what will set her apart is how carefully she reviews my history, symptoms, and bloodwork before making recommendations. Her bedside manner is warm, knowledgeable, thorough, and never makes me feel rushed. As a physician affiliated with Northwell Health, she brings a level of expertise and professionalism that has given me tremendous confidence in her guidance. Private care is certainly an investment and a luxury for most, but I genuinely believe Dr. Prabakar saves her patients significant time, confusion, and heartache by helping them make thoughtful decisions from the beginning. I leave every appointment feeling informed, supported, and confident in my next steps. I feel incredibly fortunate to have her in my corner.

He has performed multiple surgeries on me over the years, and I have trusted him with my care. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the practice have been very disappointing. Over the past year, the office has rescheduled my appointments twice. At my most recent visit, I waited 45 minutes for a routine annual exam. The practice also feels much more impersonal than it once did. I used to feel seen and heard, but that is no longer my experience. I was recently transferred to the RSVP office, where I don't know any of the providers. After being a loyal patient for so many years, I felt more like I was being passed along than cared for. Dr. Wells remains a skilled and compassionate physician, but the office, patient experience, and continuity of care have changed significantly. I hope the practice takes this feedback to heart and remembers the value of long-term patient relationships.

I can't thank you enough for taking such amazing care of my mental health, my baby boy, and my pregnancy. If you're new here, be sure to read this review thoroughly so you're fully prepared to have as great of an experience as I did! What to Expect as a New Patient: First things first, if you're a new patient, call to schedule your appointment. Before heading in, make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. When you arrive at the office, get in line, be ready to show your insurance card, and then wait for your name to be called. Once it's your turn, they'll take your weight and bring you to a room to meet with your midwife or doctor. Before that, you'll have your blood pressure checked and be asked a few routine questions, like your preferred pharmacy. First Pregnancy Check-Up: If this is your first pregnancy check-up, they'll likely bring in a monitor to confirm your pregnancy. If you're expecting, congratulations! After that, you'll have regular visits, typically once a month, to monitor your baby's heartbeat. Future Check-Ups: As your pregnancy progresses, the frequency of your appointments will increase. You'll go from monthly visits to bi-weekly appointments, and by 36 weeks, you'll likely visit every week. In between appointments, you'll need to complete your glucose screening and blood work at a separate location. Labor & Delivery: When it's time for your baby's arrival, be sure to call the office so they can prepare John Muir for your delivery. Then, just load up your baby bag and head to the hospital. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by one of the midwives who has been with you throughout your pregnancy. By now, you'll feel comfortable with the staff, so you'll be in good hands. One thing to note: While they strive to have your preferred midwife or doctor with you during delivery, they can't guarantee it. However, when I delivered my second son, Lauren was there to help, and she was incredibly professional and took great care of me and my baby. Post-Labor: After delivery, they'll follow up with you and schedule your postpartum check-up for six weeks after your delivery. Overall Experience: Overall, I never felt like my care was transactional. The team at RSVP took the time to truly listen to me, address what I was going through during my pregnancy, and even helped me through the recovery process after delivery. I can't recommend them enough. 10 stars!!!

I didn't have a lot of eggs, so I had to undergo several retrievals. As I got older, the quality of my eggs also declined. At my last retrieval, when I was 40, Dr. Aimee recommended trying PRP. She was very honest with me that it was a newer procedure, but that the results were promising. I ended up retrieving just two eggs. We created embryos, and incredibly, we ended up with one healthy baby boy and one healthy baby girl. Our son--the little boy my husband had always hoped for--came from one of those eggs I retrieved at age 40. With Dr. Aimee's help, I became pregnant through IVF, and we welcomed our beautiful son, who is now 2 1/2 years old. When we decided we wanted a second child, my previous delivery had been difficult, so we made the decision to use a surrogate. Once again, Dr. Aimee was there for us every step of the way. She connected me with multiple agencies, and I didn't have to wait long before finding an amazing surrogate who had been screened by Dr. Aimee. She was local, which meant I was able to be part of the pregnancy and birth journey in a way that was incredibly special to me. I also had a difficult time finding an in-network doctor we felt comfortable with, and Dr. Aimee personally recommended someone and helped make the connection. She went above and beyond--not just as our fertility doctor, but as someone who genuinely cared about helping us complete our family. Our healthy baby girl was just born, and she is absolutely perfect. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Aimee and her amazing team for everything they have done for our family over the past 10 years. They have been there for us through every stage of this journey, and I truly don't know what our family would look like without them. My husband jokes that if Dr. Aimee told me to jump off a bridge, I probably would. And honestly, he's right. That's how much I trust her. She is kind, compassionate, brilliant, honest, and direct. She always has her patients' best interests at heart and works tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams of building a family. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Aimee for helping us bring our two beautiful children into the world. She didn't just help us have babies--she helped us complete our family. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

She is a literal angel on earth. The reason we went to Dr. Aimee for our first son was because we didn't want to be treated like another number on a conveyor belt and she did not disappoint. Dr. Aimee goes above and beyond what anyone could ever expect as a patient. She has amazing bedside manners, she's hilarious and she answers any and all questions very thoroughly - I always wonder how she sleeps. If results didn't go our way, she showed us so much compassion. We never felt like another number/statistic and that's more than you can ever ask for while going through the stress of IVF. She might not take insurance, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've been with her for 2 retrievals, 6 years apart resulting in my 2 beautiful babies. We cannot thank Dr. Aimee enough! I've seen her practice expand and it's exciting to see how many more people she's able to help. Her team is AMAZING, warm and comforting. They communicate and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively. I never had any surprises with procedures or billing. We would recommend her a million times over because she is such a gem in Healthcare and an amazing human being. Thank you Dr. Aimee for helping us expand our family two times!! She stated she could only do one per appointment - which made no sense but I figured she didn't have much time to spend with me or it has to do with how they bill their insurance. I found out it was the latter which is even more frustrating. IN that appointment only one she was willing to do was remove my IUD and demanded I get on another form of birth control. I was getting my IUD removed because I completely stopped getting my period and my IRON count was off the charts to the point my primary doctor was concerned and needed me to see a oncologist. Due to this I didn't not want to be on any birth control and wait it to out to see if could get my period. I'm in my late 40s and was also wondering if I was perimenopausal. Because I refused to get on any birth control. She gave me a very judgmental speech about how a women my age should not be getting pregnant and odds of me actually using a condom would be highly unlikely. I was surprised to get that speech and I don't know if that was direct to me because of the way I was dressed or because of the way I looked as she obviously was assuming me to be irresponsible. I was so thrown off by that conversation and found it really unnecessary. And if pushing birth control is necessary in her job she needs a better way of delivering that message. That said I still need to do a annual check up and check to see if can get my abdomen checked out for the pain. So I had to schedule another appointment. Since then, my appointment has been canceled and rescheduled twice because of her. I was told the first one was because she had decided to extend her camping trip. The second was because she decided to call off for the week and that was this most recent one. Each time of each reschedule I have had to wait a full month or more to get on their calendar.
