Today's swap day revolved around games and puzzles. Picked up a couple of puzzles from a family members, and the children of my friends. Separate from that. Spent some time in the computer lab. Working on some stuff. They have some decently new Macintosh systems to work on. Not my native OS normally. But I like it. I like the fact that they have both windows and Mac and tosh systems. In the end. I don't care because I'm operating system agnostic, and welcome the experience on just about every operating system you can imagine.. The maker lab at this library is also excellent . Environmentally it's hard to go wrong with a visit to the Burlingame Public library. It's a beautiful building inside and out.

For locals they have a great place where nice events are held at this branch. Bathrooms are well maintained although there were a few glitches with the men's room. Not sure what happened but it was pretty minor. Unlike my local library printing is free. Yes I get mine has like budget issues but like how this one is very well stocked. Would come here again if I could Drawback: On Saturdays, it can be rowdy here because there will be kids of all ages wandering around. Younger kids can and may make a lot of noise.

It's small, intimate, cozy, and homey. There's a fireplace and big leather sofas and chairs. There's stuffed animals, a small garden with a bench in the back (I used to water those plants!), and jigsaw puzzles for kids. You will get to know the librarians and staff here. There's story times and events for adults as well as kids. They really make it like a community center. I make sure to stop by whenever I visit my parents and I love saying hi to my old coworkers and seeing how the library is growing and changing. It's a great place to get movies, books, magazines, the daily newspaper, and use the WiFi, or their desktop computers and printers. They have less selection than the main library on Primrose near downtown, but the parking is free here and they have all the new DVDs and books and fewer library patrons come to the Easton Branch. I stick and try to interact with the best and do my DD before taking a class. For the most part my professors have been 5/5 awesome and go above and beyond. The custodial are super chill and the aids are nice too. My main gripe is the Wi-Fi and data in the science building on the second floor is absolutely garbage. I strongly believe the school did that on purpose because mine (and so many others) have no service on that floor whatsoever. Go one floor above or below and it's good. We are not children and some of us are emergency contacts or have work so not having service is an issue. Especially since I tutor there and have been at all the open labs including club stuff. Also sometimes I have to turn my phone off and on to get service back which is crazy. That alone could be a reason for 0 stars but I do really like the staff and people here. They are nice and helpful. Also so beware the bookstore can be a hassle. There can be a lot of issues. It took me two semesters to get a printer but I got it after asking like 3-4x a week for a couple months. The coordination is not the best but if you push you will get the result you desire. There are many services available like DRC and EOPS available for students. Take advantage of you don't know my opinion is ask Chat gpt for all the info with links and it will give it to you in a easy to access format rather than dealing with the website. I would definitely recommend going here. For a CC it is quite lovely. They have so many things including a makerspace in the library!
