We left the southeastern section of Berlin we were staying in and took an adventure to the north…read morewestern section. The subway stop was Alt-Tegel. We were pretty close to the airport up there but this part of town quite different to where we were staying. There were lots of small shops and also a Woolworth nearby. When we got hungry for lunch we of course looked through Yelp and found this Cafe.
It is a little bit back off the road and can't be seen from the street until you are almost at it. We had walked down this street earlier in the day and not seen the Cafe. Keep the faith and walk that extra 100 paces and it will appear.
Our waiter spoke English which was helpful since the menu was not in English. He brought us a basket of fresh bread to start which was fresh and delicious.
The Restaraunt and the service areas and bathrooms were newer and clean.
We both enjoyed a late breakfast of omelette, toast and coffee. I would recommend you get the cappuccino instead of the "coffee". I am not a fan of the americano style coffee.
The setting was great, the food was very good, our server was great. Worth the trip.
