this was by farthest the worst of the worst experience and the worst people I ever had to deal with.. no love, no care, most of all NO ALOHA! my husband and I with our two girls (4yr old, newborn) along with my brother and his wife and their 3 kids (8yr old, 4 yr old, infant) booked a suite which is already 2 bedrooms and another room which is a queen size room . remember now, it only two couples with their young kids traveling now, check in 3pm, and we landed in big island HI at 6am in the morning.I myself tried calling them from the moment we landed to make sure everything is set before we get there,they didn't pick up one single phone calls, left voicemails nothing back from them, and then maybe eight times tried calling no answers and then they blocked my phone number from getting through.. which was weird! tried calling on my husband phone still the same thing. came 2 something they finally called back and they said we can come over to the house and check in and i believe it was 2:50pm. we went over just for them to tell us we need to book another room in order for all of us to stay if not they wont be able to take us in/check us in! really? and what more worst they told me in order for my newborn to stay with us i have to pay $10 for her per night? really? i have to pay for my own newborn child to be with me? what kind of business is this? and what happens if i don't? she's gonna be sleeping outside? and what the whole purpose of paying for another extra room when three room is good enough for us? they told us there's too many people in our party, it either we pay for another room, or we have to leave their property and of course they take our money because it non refundable. we booked the rooms and put how many people is gonna be there and everything went through. but we come over just for them to say there's too many people and that we have to pay for another room? we cant just have our kids in the room with us? and made it more weird, she said if we book another room, and if our kids is gonna sleep in our rooms it should be fine for them? what? so you want us to pay extra rooms just to be empty because at the end of it were only gonna use up three rooms because these are minor kids were talking about they cant sleep separately from us, they wont! they wanted us to leave their property, they was willing to throw us out, it was raining really hard that day, it was cold, and all our kids was there but yet it was just so easy for them to say that they wont take us in. why? just cuz we refused to pay for another useless room, and pay for my newborn child to be with me every night? wheres the ALOHA at? you guys live on Hawaiian lands but yet no LOVE no ALOHA? they called the cops on us as if we was trespassing i mean we still have the rights to be here because we already paid to be here and yah already took the money from us, so why you trying to put us out on the street when we already got the confirmation and everything to be here? the cops got involved they said the same thing that why are they trying to make us pay another room when all we need is three rooms? it doesn't make sense.. the whole situation was a bunch of bullshit tryna hustle us! all I'm going to say is that, this is really not the place to go, they are rip off. We ended up just me and my sister in law stayed back with our kids, and they told my brother and my husband they cant be in the rooms that night, since the cops was involved and it was a civil matter, they just had to eliminate the problem, and make sure both parties are satisfied, and that what we came down to, my brother and my husband cant be in the room with us. My brother and my husband ended up sleeping outside in the parking lot in the van in the cold when they could've been inside sleeping comfortably since we already paid for us to be all in the rooms.. right the next morning like maybe 4am or 5am in the morning Ajay and the wife went and took pictures of my brother and my husband sleeping in the van, like seriously? you said they're not allowed in the room, yah didn't say anything about no parking lot? it already good enough they sleeping out in the cold away from us, and yah gonna do that?our vacay was meant for all of use to be together.that very next morning they called the cops again, like seriously? what are we doing wrong here? it literally 4am or 5am in the morning and you guys are pulling this again? seriously? they wanted us to leave this time, they was willing to refund my money, I paid for a three night stay, and she refunded 2 nights and took the amount for one night since we slept over one night! these people was just off the edge ignorant! our vacay was only for four days and they wasted 2 days of our vacay dealing with their stupid self. ignorant people!! people with kids, this is not the place they will make you pay for extra room in order for your kids to be with you. i don't ever suggest this place to anybody with a family, because it a rip here. read more
