She not only extremely helped my son but our relationship too. My son was with her as a child and now as an adult. He graduated from both and I pray that if he's in need again she will be available. She helped us communicate better and understand each other too. He suffers with many mental health obstacles, was diagnosed with autism disorder and disassociation disorder and more. There was an issue that was one of the greatest burden in our relationship. She got to the route of it and was able to get it resolved and see the truth. I'm so deeply appreciative to all her help. I would recommend her 110+% to anyone! She is devoted, understanding, truthful, honest, and there for her clients which is something I haven't seen with many others. 1.0 August 15, 2022…read moreMs Feldshtern is abusive and unethical I am shaken after my last and final session with Ms Feldshtern She was 12-15 minutes late for 2 sessions with no text or call letting me know I asked her about this and she shrugged it up to traffic We got into a process around my work exhaustion and I mentioned an important trip upcoming ( she has known about this trip) she interrupted me to take out her calendar to get the dates I would be away and when I reminded her it was for 3 Saturdays , she abruptly stopped the therapy to say I would just have to call her when I get back and she couldn't guarantee continuation of the therapy. After several sessions of very confidential and vulnerable information relayed to her- I was shocked she would potentially end the therapeutic relationship because of a trip I have scheduled for over a year. At that point, I did not feel safe continuing that session and said I had to leave, I got up to go and she said -" you have to pay for this session ." I said I would PayPal her I walked out down a long hallway ( this is in a building with other many other offices ) and she yelled from 30 or more yards away - so anyone else could hear - " go ahead and walk out as your walk out of your own life and continue to be miserable ". I was so so shaken by this last action- I could not drive home or work the rest of the day I am reporting her to the California board of behavioral sciences and to Beacon health and to Kaiser She is dangerous And my experience will stay with me as being wholly Anti- therapeutic

Karen assured me that she worked with non-binary kids before, and that my child was in good hands. I only sat in for the first session, and then left her to do her work. In the weeks following my child started to complain about Karen, stating "they never use my proper pro nouns, and they call me by my dead name." The last complaint was that they felt like it was a waste of time because they never talk about anything significant, and then they end up talking about karen and what she's doing over the weekend (like going to her grand sons t ball game.) Finally I reached out to Karen with my grievances, (i was kind about it) and asked if we could also switch days due to a new work schedule I had. Karen brushed me off in the worst way saying "I have nothing later. My schedule is really full. I'm sorry." She said nothing about the other issues I brought up, just that she was full. I was so put off by her response and lack of care toward my child. This is a delicate industry. Therapist have to do better. Lying about your speciality cooks be detrimental, not to mention it's a waste of money! I would not recommend this therapist for any children's issues.

She made sure to keep her office comfortable and inviting and even allowed me to bring my niece to a session (she's 2 years old) when I was babysitting. I'm only moving on due to an insurance change.
