It appears that a label has been created, but no further updates have been provided. And now their system says that my product has shipped, but FEDEX still has a label created. I believe that they took my order without having the actual product in stock to charge me No one answers the phone Nor have I received a return email. I will give it three more days and then request a refund. I definitely would not recommend this store. read more

Short version, 5 stars for the ordering process and shipment, 0 stars for custumer support and information on the website. Long version: I recently ordered a fungicide through Seedbarn website. Despite everything went well with the shipment, and I receive the product, I received the fungicide in a format that I cannot use. The product delivered is a pressurized can that will release the whole fungicide as aerosol upon activation, so it is impossible for me to use it safely at home or in my backyard. On the website it is stated that the format was "water dispersable granles" which is different than what I received (pressurized can; photos attached). Since I cannot use this product, I emailed twice Seedbarn to ask to return the product, or to receive a refund. I did not receive any answer up to now. I'm open to change the review if I get assistance for this order. read more

My husband and I ordered a 1 lb bag of microclover from seed barn at the beginning of April. We received an email right after the order was placed to inform us our order had shipped. But according to the tracking info 2 weeks later it has never left the warehouse. There is no answer when you call the number on the website and when we attempted to email them at the address given on the website the email came back as undeliverable. So we would love to review the product but we never got it. Now we will have to go through the hassle of filling a dispute with Paypal to get our money bac, not to mention nnnb trying v to find more microclover seed from a reputable dealer. . Awful (no) service. Before ordering time sensitive turf seed, I called to be sure item was in stock. On hold a long time before a rude woman answered and took a long time to get me the answer. She didn't have the courtesy to alert me that item will not be shipped promptly, even if I pay for expedited shipping. I paid for 2 day shipping. Three days after ordering, and not having received the seed, I emailed them using the link on their website for order problems. The following day I received a routine email stating that my order is being prepared for shipment. The day after that I received an email from them indicating they are preparing a shipping label. It is now six days after they processed my credit card, and I have received no seed or other information, including no response to my email. Ordered micro clover as my usual places to order were low on stock. They sent email stating it shipped on 4/9. A week+ later FedEx said they didn't get any package yet. No response from their support ticket system, no answer on their support phone. Other phone line listed was disconnected. Finally, made a complaint through PayPal. Also noted that seedranch.com is actually just a front for seedworldusa.com. Not to be confused with the actual Seed World company. That day I made the complaint it finally shipped. Today the package arrived but it was plain Dutch White Clover and labelled as such, and not Micro Clover. They sent me a product worth considerably less. I tested Micro Clover last year in various parts of my yard and wanted to mix it with grass this year. Looks like I'll have to wait for the more reputable stores to get it back in stock for next year. Oh, and now nearly 2 weeks after my initial complaints through their web and phone support system... zero response. read more

Looking for lowest cost fertilizer for my market farm. I bought 3, 50# ea. Total cost, including FREE shipping: $236.68. When 2 of the 3 bags arrived, the labels stated "Made in China." Since fertilizer product from China is laden with toxic heavy metals, I called them to ask for refund. They said nothing about providing a return shipping label, so that implied returning at my cost. I asked how to ship and they suggested USPS was lowest cost. Lowest cost was FedEx, $92, then because it ended up being over 50# each, they charged me $163.50. Fedex sucks too. This could have easily been avoided with more country of origin information on their website. They should've used their volume discount power to pay return shipping. Nothing in their return policy states anything about customer having to pay return shipping costs. I rejected the third bag of fertilizer because they could not tell me the country of origin. They just didn't know and obviously they weren't too concerned to find out. I called Seed Barn (Ranch) to request reimbursement of the FedEx shipping costs. The gentleman told me that company policy is not to pay return shipping. Their return policy is purposely vague and/or deceptive. Had I gone to Walmart instead of their website, I would have been able to return product to local Walmart, even though Walmart would have also SHIPPED same product to me. If they can afford returns of Walmart shipped product, then they can afford to pay for returns shipped directly through their website. read more

If you order online, be hyper vigilant. I ordered citric acid, then two days later was provided with tracking. That tracking came up as 'invalid'. 11 days later it was still invalid. I contacted them via email and was told they ran out, so inventory mistake, and their shipment should arrive that day or the next. A colleague called and learned that it was going to be 3-4 days before seedbarn was going to receive that shipment. Communication is inconsistent and nonexistent unless the customer approaches first. Given that the company was out of the product I purchased, you'd think they would send out a courtesy notification of this delay. They did not. When I called back to confirm the email response was incorrect, I also asked what seedbarn can do to compensate my small business for two weeks time lost. I was offered to have my free shipping refunded and that was all. Horrible customer service, highly don't recommend. read more

I ordered and paid for Garlon 4 Ultra herbicide via Walmart who outsourced the order to Seed Ranch-Odessa Fl. Seed Ranch goofed up and sent Garlon 3a-- but I was charged for Garlon 4 Ultra which is much more expensive. I notified WalMart about the error and WM said Seed Ranch would contact me within in 24 Hrs to correct---after 3 days hours and I still haven't heard from Seed Ranch. Does seed Ranch have quality controls in its shipping Dept?. The Seed Ranch order shipping label says Garlon 4 Ultra was ordered by me and shows the price on the label--if Garlon 3a was scanned at the time it was picked for shipping it would seem the error would have been flagged because of the price difference.
