Lake Jackson was the first clinic where we boarded our cat overnight, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. The staff made us feel so at ease about leaving our fur baby, and I can confidently say that we did not worry about him at all. Dr. Billings' team is top tier, and we absolutely would recommend them to any pet owner!

They make sure my boxer, Bruno, gets the absolutely best care possible at the best price possible! His staff is extremely helpful and always kind and cooperative with clients. Being a smaller clinic, I know that Bruno is getting walked regularly and getting a proper amount of time outside, which is something I can't say about our previous clinic. I cannot say enough good things about Lake Jackson and Dr. Billings!

Not only do I trust them completely with my dog, but the text updates are so very nice when away from your fur baby. I love the idea of my dog staying at a home where he is not in a kennel for a majority of the day like he would be at another boarding place. He gets plenty of play/social time with other dogs. My dog seems to be excited when I drop him off, unlike other boarders he's previously been to. Not to mention the price is much better. I would not advice to leave your dog here if your dog does not so well with many other dogs as they all have free roam of the house, for the most part. Whether scared/anxious or aggressive with many dogs. A kennel will probably do better. For social dogs, this is a great option! Isaiah is professional and very friendly. We have used Boarding Buddy for a few years now and have never had a bad experience!!

I cannot reiterate how pleased I was with this service! The entire operation was very friendly and professional from start to finish. Isaiah- our main point of contact for our two dogs we boarded- was so authentic, kind, and professional. I am so happy with the treatment that my two dogs received; you can tell that this place cares about the animals they are taking care of. Our dogs were not held up in their kennels the whole time and were treated like actual pets, not just things that needed to be stored (like other boarding places do). We received updates and pictures daily, and seeing how genuinely happy our pups were was such a relief. The cherry on top was that the boarding family was very flexible with our schedules when it came time for pick-up, as our return flight back to Tallahassee kept getting delayed and we missed our original time. I will not be boarding my pets anywhere else but here!

Review - Timberland Animal Hospital BEWARE: Our dog went to…read moreTimberland Animal Hospital for a routine check-up. We were drawn by proximity, but the experience was shocking. The veterinarian pushed repeatedly for neutering and elective surgery despite our refusal. After a brief exam, which included a physical exam, we were told to collect urine and stool ourselves, even though lab work was already included in our $800+ bill. The vet personally called the next day to report normal lab results--which were later proven completely inaccurate. Less than a week later, our dog was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma by a specialist, who confirmed Timberland's labs could not have been correct. When we reported this, the vet was cold, defensive, and showed no empathy. She offered no acknowledgment of our distress or responsibility for the apparent errors. Would our dog's diagnosis be any different if Timberlane had done their job and provided the veterinary service they were supposed to provide - the answer is no, but I can tell you this is a very difficult time for us and all Timberland Animal Hospital did was make things that much worse. This was a gut-wrenching experience. Timberland failed to provide accurate testing, thorough care, or compassion. For anyone who cares about their pet's health--look elsewhere

After losing my beloved brother -- and in that same heartbreaking year, our sweet 14-year-old dog…read moreZeb -- both my husband and I felt a deep, lasting void in our lives. I also have significant allergies to animal dander, so when we finally felt ready to open our hearts again, finding the right hypoallergenic Goldendoodle was deeply personal and emotionally meaningful to us. That's when we connected with Jeanna at Forever My Doodle. From our very first conversation, she truly listened -- especially to our concerns about size. Because we live on a lake with frequent birds of prey overhead, we needed a dog large enough to be safe. Jeanna carefully considered everything we shared. When our puppy-pick weekend arrived, my husband and I thought we were drawn to different puppies. But we decided to let the puppy choose us -- and in the end, Jeanna was absolutely right about which one was meant for our family. Her intuition is remarkable, and her knowledge of her puppies is exceptional. She even predicted Finlay's adult size within just two pounds! Finlay is everything we could have hoped for and more. He has the sweetest temperament, believes he's human, and is the ultimate "Velcro dog." He's incredibly smart, hilariously clumsy, and uses his paws like hands -- which keeps us laughing every day. He is pure joy with an endless capacity for love. Finlay has helped heal our hearts in ways we didn't even know were possible. Now, as we prepare to welcome another puppy into our family, we know he will be a gentle, playful, loving big brother. We cannot recommend Forever My Doodle enough. Jeanna Kite is thoughtful, professional, deeply caring, and truly dedicated to the well-being of her dogs and puppies. She doesn't just breed -- she nurtures, knows, and connects families with their perfect companions. We would not go anywhere else.

The people on the phone were nice when I made the appointments (2 cats at the same time slot for a full cat groom and nail caps). The cat grooming was expensive, but my two sphinx cats were very clean and smelled wonderful when they came home. They also had adorable nail caps on (sparkly!) that have mostly stayed on in the weeks following their appointment. Their hands are still in wonderful shape but my older cat keeps successfully popping off her toe caps in her efforts to clean her own toes lol. I was more worried about the front caps anyhow. All in all, this is great! Boyfriend said the front desk lady was friendly and wonderful and that he saw the staff handle our cat kids with care. He did say that they said they sedate some animals, and I wouldn't be into that but thankfully our cats did okay and didn't need that. I would hope the salon would pass any sedation by us before doing that if it was ever deemed necessary. Another request would be late appointment or weekend hours! I was told they only really do AM appointments on weekdays, which is super hard to jive with a regular work schedule. Other than that, and maybe a little extra glue in the kitty twinkle toe caps for our next run, I intend on using bloomingtails regularly for the foreseeable future to keep up to date with our cats nail caps and maybe 1-2 annual full grooms. We loved the experience and the cats are clean and getting used to their cap life.

When I politely repeated that he was a mini because I wasn't sure he had heard me, his response came across as sarcastic and dismissive. He stated that $130 was the starting price for any poodle mix unless it was a different dog, which was confusing given that I had already told him multiple times that my dog is a Goldendoodle. What bothered me most was the customer service. The conversation felt rude and unprofessional from the start. After I simply said "okay," he immediately hung up without asking if I still wanted to schedule an appointment, even though that was the reason for my call. Based on that interaction alone, I would not feel comfortable bringing my dog here. If someone is dismissive and disrespectful to potential customers, it naturally raises concerns about the level of care and professionalism they provide. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this experience left me looking elsewhere for grooming services.

She offers several levels of courses, teaching all the important basics and skills, and also offers individual training sessions as well. She's super easy to reach if you have any questions when not in class, and seems to really love all her pupper students. I really love her approach to teaching, too. She teaches how to positively reward your dog so they can learn important skills that you might not have even thought about, while also teaching how to correct behaviors without having to turn to any sort of punishment that could hurt them like a shock collar or dog whistle. My dog absolutely loves her, and is thriving under her teaching. My biggest issues before training was barking when not getting what he wanted and pulling on his leash. Now, I have plenty of tools to turn to, to discourage the barking and he doesn't really pull when walking now. Like, the change with walks was so dramatic from even the first lesson on pulling, so I'm so happy! The way she trains is with your dogs happiness in mind. We learn about anxious behaviors so we can try and teach our pups in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Her training isn't about forcing them to exemplify the behaviors fast, it's about doing them in a safe, healthy manner that ensures these behaviors last their whole life.
