This was an economical hotel that offered a GREAT breakfast, with nearby access to the city's train, and free parking on the street. I spent the weekend in Berlin before driving a couple hours north. On the back side of the trip I stayed at the nearby JW Marriott, and that hotel was a mess. I'd stay at Hotel Belvoir my next trip to Berlin!

Actually, it wouldn't matter what floor you're on as all of the entry/exit doors were left wide open. Anyone could walk in. As for the room, it was clean. I would have liked hand towels and/or washcloths to go with the two bath towels. It wild have helped with cleaning up the mess from the shower soaking the floors. A poorly designed shower, that has a moveable wand, shoots out the open concept door and soaked the bathroom and entry. I was going to call the front desk for more towels but couldn't find the number listed on the phone. There was no guest service information in the room either. There was no Kleenex/facial tissue and the hair dryer was a sorry mess. I understand hotels don't want people stealing the hair dryer but, I would prefer not having to take three times as long to dry my hair and not burning my hands in the process.

There was a restaurant/bar that seemed to be busy/had a good looking menu attached to the lobby. Our room was fine - no frills. We really didn't like the pillows, and the bathroom was very small. Like if you were on the toilet, you were basically in the shower. It was a comparable size to cruise ship bathrooms, but I didn't see why it needed to be. The room was very warm, but it was too loud to keep the windows open cause the hotel was right next to the freeway, so luckily we found a space AC unit in the room. The big kicker for me was finding the largest stink bug I've ever seen on one of the lamps as we went to go to bed. Luckily my boyfriend was able to capture it and send it free out the window, but then I couldn't help to wonder if there were other critters crawling around. We were there for less than 24 hours, so it was an easy stay, but for a longer stay I think I would have preferred somewhere else.

Came here for our 2 day stay in Zurich after a long 24 hrs flight…read more Samantha (the daughter) greeted us and she was so charming and helpful. We needed early checkin as our flight came early and she made it possible. We were in Suite #2: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with fully furnished kitchen; AC including full Washing machine and dryer (in the basement)! I absolutely loved this place. Sylvia (the Mom) was amazing and extremely helpful as well. I believe they can also provide you a parking spot if you need one. The best part about this place is: (1) pharmacy at the corner (2) coop supermarket a few blocks down (train can be taken there as well) (3) so many cute/cool walking stores nearby (4) safe to be out and about ~8/9pm if you're jet lagged (5) train stops a few feet from the hotel. We were able to go around the city with so much ease and comfort knowing we wouldn't have to walk after a long day of walking. This is a family owned place; the family has really made it a homey place. If you get a chance to stay here don't think twice.
