Apex was hired by us, at THEIR behest, to fix our weather damaged roof. Their salesman showed up…read moreseveral times, claiming we could get our insurance to cover it. And, incredibly, they did (although many other roofs around here were also done by many different companies. End of May, the order taker came by, we picked everything out and we're told actual work is about a month out before permitting could be done. July came and no roof. We called, APEX said they were awaiting the insurance company check. We are in Florida, it's raining every day and at this point I have leaks appearing in my interior ceiling. By around the first of August they had to come out and "blue tarp" the back roof over the porch so my porch ceiling would not cave in, it was that bad. In the end we found out our insurance company DID send the check, to the address in Alabama which where their HQ is. Except the company had moved and didn't tell anyone. They started in mid-August. INCREDIBLY hard working crew of 7 or 8, including wives, took three days to tear off and replace our 38 sq. roof. At one point they ripped of a section of flat roof that WAS NOT part of the contract. We tried to stop them,but not one person on the crew knew the first word of English!! So, to communicate, we called APEX, they found an interpreter and they called and explained to them. They fixed it correctly, so it was no problem for me. Roof looks great! It's now been OVER 4 weeks and we cannot get APEX to tell us when our gutters are going on. It WAS supposed to be 2 weeks after completion! So, their install was perfect. They have little to NO communication skills with customers, however. Their timing was way off and no one has talked to the gutter people (a subcontractor) about why they are not here yet!

Removal and installation was neat and expediate with the owner on site providing updates to me as they went along.
