I did a fair amount of research before hiring this company. I should have checked Yelp! They talk a good game and tell you what you want to hear. Take a 50%( non-refundable) deposit and leave you hanging for weeks. Once they "finish" your fence you pay them the rest then and only then will they agree to contact the city for an approval. I had to contact the licensing board for them to come back out and move the fence off the neighbors property as the city failed it. It took an entire year for them to respond and numerous phone calls to the city, the licensing board and them. I had two surveys done to be sure it was correct. They said they'd put post in every 6 feet, they didn't even measure just threw them in where they wanted. The fence is thrown together and looks like crap. WORST fence company other there! Fence is crocked & uneven everywhere. read more

My fence install was a few yrs ago but I did not watch over the work being done and just realized if you get a fence installed by them that has poles closer or farther apart, they will just saw the old poles at ground level and not remove them. Now I have white pvc posts sawed ground level. I found out when my yard had to be graded and the workers from the grading company showed me. They did replace a cracked pole they installed because I noticed that right away but that took a long time for them to replace it. read more

Do not give these thieves your money!!!! We gave them 3000 dollars as a down payment (which is required) January 27th, 2025, and never saw them again. Tomorrow, I meet with the Sheriffs Dept to file a complaint and have already spoken to the State Attorney's Office. I really don't know what happened to this company as they had done at least six fences for me in the past. additionally, when they took my deposit, I found out that they could not pull a permit because they had lost their insurance (per Emily the office manager) BEWARE!!!!! read more

Another month has passed and Secure Fence has refused to respond to my repeated requests for an update on the return of my deposit. Based on other reviews I have read, they have probably blocked my phone number and email address. I have started the process of using the legal system to get my deposit back. Will continue to provide updates as they become available. read more

Was given a quote like 2 month ago. I went on line and read reviews. Then a guy who worked for them happened to come into my job and heard me asking about fencing. His response was use anyone but them . He said they still owed him money and would get people's deposits and not show back up. I had a great young man do my fence and every day when I pass by secure fence the gates closed and locked and there is no cars anywhere in sight. Feel like I dodged bullet. read more

Do not recommend!!! They ruined our backyard from the dirt they dug up and left. The people that installed the fence couldn't speak any English. read more

Would not recommend. They are rude and block the road to neighbors. If they don't care for others it shows their character or lack there of.

From a disabled Vet and unfortunately a recent customer. Resistance training was a cake walk compared to dealing with their office staff. The product looked like it was drug through the streets of Al-Fallujah. Kept asking for final payment before the job was complete. Problems were corrected, but it felt like a competition to see how crappy of a product I was willing to accept instead of doing what's right and ultimately what the customer paid for. read more

Terrible service, do yourself a favor, and stay clear of this company. Very unresponsive, collected 50% per contract. Didn't complete the job; stopped answering my call, and text messages. Save yourself the headache, not worth it. Roberto Payan, the owner; is the worst business owner; I have ever encountered. read more

Signed a contract to have the work completed within 12 weeks. They gladly took my 50% deposit. 16 weeks, no contact from them, no installation date, no permits pulled, no gate . . . called to cancel the contract --they cancelled and refused to refund the deposit despite violating their own contract terms. read more

So, I received a competitive quote, texted the estimator to see if he could go lower, he agreed to a lower price, then he stopped responding. We reached out to the office to see if we could work with them or another estimator instead, and they said he would reach back out to us. Over 2 months later, he responds that he can't do the lower price and had to beg his manager to honor the original quoted price because now prices are up 17%. We were ready to sign before and ended up going with another company for not only price but responsiveness and integrity. read more

So so bad. They delayed us multiple times over the course of 4 months and when they finally did install the fence, they did it wrong TWICE. Both times it had to be rescheduled, completely dug up, and installed again. It was installed 5 feet into our property line the first time. The second time it was completely crooked and leaning sideways. All three times they came to install/reinstall the fence, they left trash, huge piles of dug up soil, leftover concrete and cigarettes all over the yard. The manager, Todd, promised us that he'd give us a discount for all of our trouble but once he found out that we already payed in full before they started the job, he didn't care to anymore. If you were thinking of going with a more expensive company like these guys to "save the hassle", I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Avoid. Condescending staff and management. Have to keep calling and calling for answers. 3 month wait time. Overpriced.

Horrible installation and customer service. The installers damaged my sprinkler system. The company sent out a technician to fill in holes the original installers failed to fill in and he makes the damage even worse. Now, the company doesn't accept my phone calls and won't correct the damage. Save your money and sanity, don't use this company or you'll regret it. read more

Find another fence company. The initial build was great but they don't stand behind their work. We scheduled a repair post-hurricane and we are still waiting on repairs. Have called 5 times now requesting a real date for repairs and keep getting told they will get to us "in a couple of weeks." Took our money and won't return it, but also won't fix our fence. Now we are fixing the fence ourselves and boards are warped from sitting with a lean so long. A year in, spent all this money, and have a busted fence plus several hundred dollars unaccounted for. Thanks a lot Secure Fence and Rail. BTW we are both "veteran owned and operated" as well but we stand behind our service. Don't tout something if you don't treat fellow veterans with respect. read more

So I had these guys install my fence back about 6 months or so ago. Everything was fine they pretty much had it installed when they said it would be done, took them 2 days. All was good. Then Irma cam along and blew done my little 5' side. Broke the main pole attached to the house, snapped it right off at the tapcons they used to secure it. My neighbors fence right beside mine had no issues. They claimed that they had the best materials and would last even in this situation. The best part is when we asked them to come out and fix it stating the fence is relatively brand new they ask me for $360. Seriously one post and sliding the slats in a 1/2 hour job are going to cost me $360. They can't even stand next to their claims of using the best materials. I'd advise using someone else. As it stands I'll buy my own post and fix it myself. read more

The older gentleman showed up a half an hour early and didn't wait for me the appointment was confirmed two times that day he came back out and it's a good thing you did because he had all the measurements and the kind of fence and everything wrong he said I would have an estimate within a day three weeks went by with numerous phone calls to numerous people in their office everybody promised I would get an estimate that day nobody came through nobody cared then three weeks later I get an estimate of $3150 which is ridiculous it's sad this is the worst fence company I could ever imagined. I would never ever recommend them for any kind of work what so ever, don't waste your time. I would not even give them one star but I have to , sorry. read more

Secure fence just finished putting up my fence. The installation went exactly as planned. They are a locally owned/run business so they don't have all the manpower to get to the jobs as quickly as some of the bigger companies! There is a delay BUT we were warned of that prior to signing with them!! Being a military veteran family they offered us a discount which we greatly appreciated! Communication was difficult at times which is why I give them a 4 and not a 5! I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors and will definitely use them again if the need arises! Thank you Secure Fence I now have 3 happy dogs that can run free in their yard! read more

Did a good job replacing 500 feet of fence at our condo complex post-hurricane. Told us up front that it would require a 3 month wait . They followed through & worked with our landscaper to clear away overgrown vegetation. The new fence looks Good. The sales rep Jason was very pleasant and responsive. read more

This is by far the worst company ever to deal with. They are shady and lie al the time. Tell you one thing and then backtrack with sorry don't know why that was promised to you. My gates are 3 inches out of being plum. Last year they didn't properly install the fence and my puppy got out and broke his leg in the process $5k. Took them last year 3 months to fix our gate after the hurricane and this year 8 weeks to get an estimate and 12 weeks more to install. I got a handy man and bought materials direct. Wish I never used them!! Go else where and I'm reporting to the BBB next. Wish I could use 0 stars but have to give a 1. read more

Very poor customer service. I took the time out of work to meet the sales rep Ron. He stated my fence would not need replaced but only repaired and some would call in next few days to give me estimate and get me on the schedule . I waited over two weeks and no one had called me. Called the office and the lady in the office said she would look into it, never heard back, Complete waste of my time . Not sure how to run a business when you don't delivery of your promise, then turn away paying clients and just plain waste every ones time read more

I waited for a long time to get this partial fence replacements after hurricane Irma but it was worth the wait. Stephen and Timothy worked hard through the day until dark evening. That promised they'd be done in one day and they delivered beautifully answering all my questions. I'd definitely recommend them! read more

This is a top rate fence company .Everything was professional and I would recommend them above anyone else . During the hurricane this was the only company that would actually do repairs . No one else even came out or called back . The workmanship on their fencing is outstanding .If you want the best fence in Brevard county call them . read more

I contacted Secure fence and rail for a quote on November 4th and they said build time would be 6-8 weeks out. I put a 50% deposit down on November 9th and they said 8-10 weeks. I've been told I would be getting e-mails as the process moves along. I got an e-mail on December 6th saying thank you for choosing us and another on February 8th saying your install is coming soon. I have not received any other e-mails about materiels, permits, surveys or anything else. I've called the office multiple times and if you don't call before 4 the phones may or may not be on. They told me the end of February than got another call saying the beginning of March and when I questioned it they said it was the same week. Not getting any updates I called again and phones were off at 4:20 so I called the next day and they told me they have to see if the crews were behind or not and she would call me back by 4. 4 came and went so I called back after 4, shocker phones were on, and they told me the crews would be here Friday, March 3rd to do a 2 or 3 day install so they would be here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Good that's what I wanted. Well here it is Friday at 11:30 and no crew. Once again no communication. It has now been 16 weeks since I put a deposit down for a fence and have nothing to show for it. That is DOUBLE the time I was quoted. I would never recommend this company to anybody. I have more work that needs to be done in probably 6 month and I would never give this company any more business. I was really excited about it being veteran owned as my mom is a disabled veteran and I have been let down. read more
