I moved here in June 2025. I love my neighbors and many amenities. I only gave it three stars…read morebecause of the landscape maintenance and the misleading warranty on my new build. I moved into a maintenance free section (paid for it in your HOA fee), meaning they take care of the landscaping. All they do is mow, string trim and spray the edges with grass killer. I have to pull my own weeds and treat for insects for which there are many! They use Bahia grass for the sides and rear. This is a pasture grass and looks terrible. They use Zoysia grass for the front to make the drive by look great for future sales. Don't be misled with the 2yr warranty for electric and plumbing. They only cover structural such as a leaking pipe in the wall. It does not cover anything leaking from fixtures such as toilets, a/c, hose bibbs, etc. You need an on-call plumber because they use the poor quality parts. Still, I am happy to live here for the social aspects.

Five months before we retired we flew to Florida to find our retirement home. The first place we…read morevisited was OTOW in Ocala Florida . There we met Mercedes Hernandez. Her knowledge of the community and the homes impressed us. She showed us homes to see what we liked. We let her know what features and upgrades we wanted. She was fantastic! We searched other communities, however, nothing compared to OTOW and we found ourselves back at OTOW before our return trip home. Once we sold our home, Mercedes was able to find us a move in ready home with all of the options we desired. She also introduced us to their relocation team. Greatly reducing the stress of a long distance move. Now that we've been here for over four months, life is good! We love it here in our new home and we are very grateful to Mercedes for taking the time to show us what our next chapter should look like. Thank you, Mercedes! Laura & John Savino

This is a family business and it shows, they treated us with respect each time we came by the office, called or emailed.they offered great advice on the final design and were easy to work with on any changes along the way. The sub contractors they work with are phenomenal, each was very respectful and professional and showed up when they were scheduled to do so. We highly recommend Community Builders for your new home or garage. We regret not finding them to build our home as well.

Glenn Moore with Coldwell Banker Riverland Realty was the listing agent for the home we just bought…read morein Dunnellon Florida. I would not use him if I was looking for a house. We did not use him as we had our own realtor but we had to deal with him. If you are trying to sell a house and your house is falling apart he might be your guy. If you're selling a house to someone I would have thought you would want to do the right thing and make sure a house is in sellable condition. This guy put this house on the market and it was in no condition to sell. It needed a new roof on both the house and detached garage, new circuit breakers in both of the garages, the well was broken and had to be repaired, the garage door was broken, needed a new water heater along with the pool light being broken. He was supposed to have all of this fixed by closing because I fell in love with this house and the area and wanted this house. The roof was repaired, a new water heater was added and new circuit breakers. The well was repaired but this guy did not have them change any of the disgusting filters that were in the well just to save a buck. We had absolutely no water pressure in the house and had to pay for a plumber to make repairs which should have been done by him. The pool light is still out. He said oh the switch on the wall turns it on..NOT! The pool light is supposed to have 5 screws holding it in and there is 1 screw in it. The garbage disposal is broken and the dishwasher does not heat up. He did not give us the code to the garage which we finally got today a week after moving in and he gave us 1 key to this entire house. A good realtor would have had a least one more made for a husband and wife who just retired and intend on living the rest of our life here. Also, we actually had to take loads of garbage to the dump that the owners and Glenn Moore did not get rid of. It honestly kills me that this man made money from this sale after screwing us. He had a crappy attitude also about our pods being delivered before we signed for the house after our closing was moved out due to all of the repairs. He told us we could have them delivered if we got rid of all the trash left behind by his sellers. I still have a piano sitting in my living room that I don't want but feel guilty getting rid of. It is sad that a person like this walks the earth and can take advantage of people. I wouldn't use Glenn Moore or Coldwell Banker Riverland Realty because they are definitely shady and try to sell real estate that has a questionable. I still love the house so we will make it right no thanks to Glenn Moore!

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I managed huge apartment communities for 30 years…read moreand been the project manager on millions of dollars in renovation and maintenance projects. Eddie is a great talker and tells you he can do everything and really lets you believe he can be trusted. I had a full rehab for my house including painting, new flooring, new vanities, all new light fixtures, basically total overhaul. The original bid was $23,900. I have pets so I specifically told Eddie I would be moving into an Airbnb so he could get the house done without having to work around me and I did not want my pets stressed by all the noise and activity. He agreed that the job would be done in 4 weeks. During this time, he decided to accept a bathroom remodel in my neighbors house at the same time. He only works from about 9am to 4pm with a lunch break. He was 2 weeks past the deadline and still was not finished!! He submitted receipts from the hardware store for me to pay that were parts he bought for my neighbors job! He has now charged me over $34,000 for my job that was supposed to cost $24,944. That is a 30% mark up!! The work site was an absolute disaster, they left my house in terrible shape. They sprayed my floors with glue remover and did not protect my furniture (he promised all furniture would be protected and covered) which has now eaten the stain off several pieces of my antique furniture. He took all my books and piled them on my mattress and did not cover my mattress so not only was it exposed to toxic chemicals from the glue remover he used, the mattress was filthy because he never covered it even though he promised he would. He did not wire my ceiling fans correctly so I had to pay an electrician to come and re-wire them. Ge burnt out 1 ceiling fan with his bad wiring and the electrician said it needs to be replaced. He also left screws loose on the bedroom fans so they would eventually fall from the ceiling. He stored all his tools in my garage and left such a mess, I tripped over his cords and hurt myself pretty badly. Even once I moved back in, everyday they would throw trash on the floors inside the house and then leave. Every night I would have to go around cleaning up all their trash. He bills you for items that are not complete and then expects payment even though items are not completed. I bought all the materials and because he was so disorganized, he lost several parts that I had to re- purchase. I have never seen such a messy, disorganized job site in my 30 years of property management where I worked with hundreds of contractors over the years. I could keep going, but I am sure you get the point t. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST DECISION EVER! Total incompetent and can't complete job on time because they only work about 5 to 6 hours a day.
