Go elsewhere because if you go with them, you're on your own. Every time I pressed CSP's after‑hours support, I was routed to API in Texas and hung up on 2-3 times before anyone finally answered. When the agent said "API Texas," I was dismayed, CSP had sold us "local, in‑house monitoring." After the alarm malfunction, CSP emailed only once to say they were "looking into it," but never contacted me or my mother again, never offered resolution, and never sent a technician to fix the panel. Management's only concern was asking for my code. Apparently, Katie read my emergency email at 1:29 AM. Who reads a customer's emergency message at 1:29 AM, forwards it to someone else in the company, and still doesn't think, 'Maybe we should contact these people or send a technician'? Any real security company would have acted immediately. Instead, CSP did nothing except try to shift blame. That tells you everything you need to know. My experience with Katie was exactly like Boris's. We have cancelled our contract, and they had better not charge us because they abandoned us with faulty equipment and no service. API Texas could do nothing, they told me CSP's technicians control the panels. It has been two days with the alarm malfunctioning and not even the offer to send a technician. We are done with CSP. They are not a security service provider or a monitoring provider. They are false advertisers who appear to outsource everything except the money they take from customers and put into their coffers, hiding behind a contract they themselves voided under the Consumer Protection Act.

Their account manager named Katie promised me a lot of attractive things by email. However, when I received the draft contract, I saw that some points in it did not fully correspond to her promises. I asked to include in the contract everything she promised me in emails. She refused, but at the same time stated that I can use her e-letters as confirmation of her promises. But, I always carefully read the small print. And I saw that section 14 of their standard contract says that any promise, representation, condition or warranty made by sales representatives or consultant of Canadian Security Professionals are not valid if they are not written in the contract. In other words, their consultants can promise you anything in a conversation or even in correspondence. This has no legal significance. I made a last attempt to resolve this incorrect situation. I asked Katie to connect me with the owner of the business. But she refused to do this too. I thank God that he did not let me sign an alarm contract with these people.
