The interior is modern and minamalistic, with comfy leather couches in the reception area. This all goes a long way to providing a warm and welcoming feel. Renaissance Hair's senior stylists are excellent, thorough and highly professional. Both myself and my Mum's stylist is Donna and she is beyond excellent. Every consultation is carried out with the upmost attention and focus on the clients needs and own vision of how they see their final look. She is open to new suggestions and enthusiastic at creating new looks, texture and colour. Her experience shines and this ensures the treatment you receive throughout your time with her is second-to-none. Donna makes you feel relaxed, well looked after and pampered, all without the inane chat that you can get from many less-experienced stylists at less professional salons. All the other stylists in the salon are equally charming. Nothing is too much trouble and you leave the salon with a great haircut and feeling cared-for and fantastic. All ages are welcome and appointments are tailored to accommodate as much as possible. I can't recommend this salon enough and as I didn't find any reviews on the web for Renaissance already, I felt it high time that the girls who work here are complimented on their running of a superb salon. Kids are especially well catered for in here, they even have a supply of lollies for them to keep them quiet which is a nice touch. I think their prices are about right, they seem to make it up for the kids (sometimes its £6, sometimes its £8) but all in all - they're not too bad. They're good snippers too - I've sat and watched them do traditional short back and sides, and i've also seen them do trendy styles, with razors etc. Definitely worth 5 stars from me.

We have now found her again in her village salon. Prices are much cheaper than City Centre and cuts and colours are second to none. Late night on Tuesday. About 15-20 minutes from Chester depending on traffic, well worth the journey and added bonus is lovely pubs nearby to have Lunch or Tea!

The staff are excellent with children & if you take your boy there for their first haircut you get a certificate & they keep a lock of hair to give you- a nice touch. The prices are reasonable & the shop itself is always clean & tidy. This shop does get very busy especially on weekends & during holidays & they have a policy for ' no under 5's on Friday or Saturday' Parking can sometimes be an issue as there are lots of other shops in the row but there is other areas to park fairly nearby. A nice barbers shop, especially good for children.
