We had taken out a number of trees in our yard and wanted a large tree that can be a focus for the…read morefront of the house. It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

Not only was the selection and variety of trees fantastic, the professional advice we got from beginning to end of the process was on point and so helpful. From the initial visit being driven around the property on a golf cart to find the right tree, to the foreman's pre-planting visit, to the planting crew themselves, the entire experience was flawless. Everyone we encountered from BTT gave amazing service, had good humor, excellent communications, and took an above-and-beyond approach. We met the owners. They were a very delightful couple and complimented them on their business. They were serving wine and a tasty morsel, which was a nice touch. The inside winds to the back and around the corner. Don't forget to make sure you explore all of the business while there. It's nice to see that Salem has something unique and you don't have to drive to Portland to find it. I'm not a real collector of antiques, but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my perusing, the unique collectibles and antiques. You can even find collectible clothes in several of the areas.
