The staff at this location are hands down the most friendly and hardworking coffee shop staff I've seen and they also happen to work amazingly well as a team. You think the local Starbucks team look in-sync when they hit the rush? I bet you that this team has them beat and they'll be grinning ear to ear the whole time. Even when I sit to enjoy my tea and get my new downloading session underway, I can hear one of the counter guys talking to a little kid about how much milk they go through, and how he grew a whole foot in a year from how much milk he drank. Super sweeties who give the absolute best service despite being the only java option in the area. It is one of those places that reminds you that the service is what counts.

In addition to their great coffee Dreamy offers a nice selection of baked goods. You can enjoy your order inside or take it out to one of the benches that wraps around the trees along side their parking area (which is my favourite spot). The cafe is located in a unique roasting facility, The Canadian Roasting Society, where numerous local small batch roasters use the facility to roast their beans. Of course all the coffee served at Dreamy is roasted on site and beans from all the member roasting companies are available for purchase in the cafe.

Coffee was fine but unmemorable, which is the theme for most of the 6 Montréal coffee shops I tried (Crew Coffee, Osmo x Murasan, Dispatch, Noble Café, Aube Boulangerie, Dreamy) with the exception of White Heron which was striking. Likewise the pastries. So when all things are otherwise equal, you look at other aspects. The service was very pleasant and helpful. The staff bilingual. The interior space is divided from a much larger industrial space, so it feels like a coffee shop in a warehouse -- but they did enough to delineate the area. It would've been nice to see more outdoor seating or low-tops. Overall not a bad neighborhood coffee shop but I wouldn't rush to go out of the way to go here.

They even have a burning candle in the bathroom with organic hand soap, which may not be a big deal to some but I really appreciate when bathrooms are clean and smell nice . Also, whoever made the music playlist deserves a raise, the tunes really set the vibe. The staff were very friendly and made my drink perfectly! I also really like how they serve their beverages in cups or glasses if you choose to stay. The prices are fairly reasonable, an Iced Matcha Latte is $5 which is cheaper than a lot of places I've been to. They have a selection of baked goods which isn't huge but honestly I rarely come to cafe's for their food, it's all about the drinks for me. Though I'll admit, their croissants are great! Buttery, warm and crispy. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so it's not too hard to find a place to sit, unless of course you come late in the morning on a weekend. I'll continue coming to Myriade because it's always reliable and comfortable.

Yet another breakfast place with a name pun with eggs. :)…read more Came here for brunch around 12pm on a TUESDAY and found the place 90% full which tends to be a good sign! We were promptly seated and service was decent. What I like about this breakfast joint is that they leave you with a small thermal pitcher with coffee that you can self serve until you drink it all. The reason I can't give my experience a 5 stars however is due to the filtered coffee being mediocre. It plugged the caffeine hole so to speak but it tasted weak. #Notmycup. Another negative point is parking can be an issue but I can't blame them too much for it. I went with their Belle Helene which consists of a pair of thin crepes filled with yummy cream and fruits under a blanket of strawberries and strawberry sweet sauce. It was sweet but not eniugh to be sickening. It was very good! I'd definitely would come again and try this plate again or maybe another.
