It's a bit of a monopoly really. I've taken this taxi many times from the train station in Secaucus back to the Jersey City area. Usually coming from events at MetLife Stadium back home. Pro's ... Always waiting when you arrive at the taxi stand area. Especially on a Sunday evening after arriving back from the stadium. Con's... It's a little expensive to say the least. No meters, always get a quote of $25.00 coming back to the area. Keep in mind that it's about a 10 minute drive back home.At least it's a little less than 'event' day parking prices at the station of $30.00. Reliable service + but a bit pricey= 3 stars. read more

Great drivers! I recommend using this service not only because they are a clean cabbie but because they are friendly and motivated in what they do. I never had a bad experience with Secaucus taxi. Turns out these guys are just a central dispatch for all the taxis in the area. You won't see a "Secaucus Taxi" cab anywhere. They'll quote you the prices immediately so that you know the rates and not get gouged. It's weird here because they don't run meters like they do in NYC. I talked with the owner Rudy, he told me he had the lowest prices, I found another service for lower than his quote. I called him back he matched the price and promised me a better driver and cars than the others. He did not disappoint us! We got a driver, Anthony, who loaded our bags, gave us great customer service! He was very personable on the drive, and we didn't feel like we were taking our lives into a questionable position. Due to an emergency, I needed to travel immediately from a NJ suburb to NYC, and right before rush hour. The driver, Eddy, charged only a flat fee plus tolls, even though my suburb is a bit out of the way and he would have to sit through traffic on his trip back. They are unreliable and dirty and when I requested a receipt I was met with an abrupt "it will go to your email via square" I called to request a receipt and the "owner manager and proprietor" as he called himself told me he couldn't do anything about it and hung up on me. Can I give a zero star? I've only booked a taxi once through these guys and they send me a cab which was literally falling apart. I was going to JFK on a very hot July 4th weekend. The A/C was not working so we drove 1 1/2 hours with windows down and sweat dropping everywhere. Since there was a child safety seat for my baby in the back seat I was sitting in the front seat. THERE WAS NO SEAT BELT! There was real traffic so we were going slow and there were cops everywhere. Somehow they didn't seem to care so I didn't get a ticket. When I asked the driver he told me to just hold the piece of seat belt hanging from the B pillar across my body and just pretend that I'm wearing one! So finally we reach the GW bridge and the car doesn't have an E-Z Pass, so we wait in cash line for another 15-20 minutes. I mean seriously? Is this a taxi service in NJ/NY metro area, where there are tolls about every 2 miles?? Cabbie talked about how he needs more tips and how rough it is being a cabbie the whole trip. Felt very shady. Gave me a flat rate, then changed it, angrily mumbling something incoherent. This felt like an extortionist taxi ride I'd expect to have in a third world country! Scary! read more

Nice driver BUT i Would suggest to request a quote before to accept the service, they don't use a taxi meter so when you are a tourist you are basically charged what they want. $100 dlls from NJ to Manhattan in comparison with $55 dlls that we were charged one night before from another taxi service. read more

Eddie and his team took good care of us. We came into Newark NJ for a cruise. He got us to the hotel from the air port and our friends from from the train station. His food recommendations were spot on ! 2 weeks later he again got us safely to our hotel. Arraganged for 5:00 pick up and got us again where we needed to be. I don't know what these other people are talking about. I spoke with Rudy - the owner- right after I left my wallet in Chris's cab tonight- one of the nicest cab drivers I have ever spoken with while being ferried from the Hyatt on Plaza Drive to Secaucus Junction. We chatted the whole way to the station and he was so nice about accepting my credit card (which many drivers can be a-holes about) --- after getting out and realizing I lost my wallet, Rudy was beyond accommodating over the phone- calming me down and helping me narrow down his drivers to Chris -- he called Chris and helped Chris find the wallet, then called me back and told me that Chris was coming back to drop it off for me! Rudy told me not to worry about it, but to recommend him to all my friends as THE best cabby in NJ. Honestly, he cares about his business and about pleasing his customers- USE THEM when you're in Secaucus. Hard to find good, honest, hard-working people in today's world --- he deserves your business and he hires awesome cab drivers! read more

A bunch of rip-off artists. I had a more honest cab driver in Carachi. Attended an event at Met Life Stadium on 10/27/2013. Cab picked up myself and a couple. Charged the couple $24 and charged $20 for a fare that was supposed to be $24 total. When I called the dispatcher I was told I need the driver's name to file a complaint. Since it was not a game day at MetLife Stadium there were very very few pickups from there so it would not have been hard to find out which driver had picked up three people from the parking lot withing the last hour of my call. I will go out of my way to use another company the next time I need a cab going to the stadium. STAY AWAY! These people need to suffer the consequences of conducting bad business. read more

Secaucus junction would be a fantastic hub for local commuters were it not for the behavior of the drivers from this company out in the pick up If it isn't bad enough that it causes dangerous spillover queues into a busy junction of Seaview Drive and the NJ Turnpike; their employees dictate crass directions to civilian drivers that are offensive, rude, and inconsiderate. When you're inside one, they reek of cigarette smoke, and don't stop talking about how they're underpaid and miserable. I typically take cabs in lieu of Uber when I'm in NYC, but here in Secaucus, I would never give these drivers business, and always schedule a pick up beforehand if needed. read more
