I wanted to take a minute to send you a note to share how much my wife and I appreciate you taking time to listen to what we needed done on "Roxy" our recently purchased 1980 Jeep CJ 5. While her body was in great shape we knew her transmission had some serious trauma. We also knew that the mechanic we wanted working on her needed to be a craftsman who was able to balance investing enough care to make her drivable and safe for our family but also to keep the cost realistic. Our thought...Do what we have to have done and do it timely, but no more. I was most impressed at your diagnostic care and ability to very quickly develop a plan of action for our appropriate repair. When we came to pick her up and the grinding was still there, that's when you and your company really earned my respect as a fellow business owner. Instead of rushing through the solution and saying "that's just the way an older vehicle will be" you took responsibility for the solution and said "it shouldn't be doing that, we'll get it fixed" How refreshing! An owner with character who still looks at clients as friends and I would say, family. You wanted it, and in fact were going to make it, the very best a 38 year vehicle could be. And in fact, you did.
While your shop may be without the glitz, online coupons, quote a low price only to be surprised later - mentality, I say you don't need it! Your reputation is all you need. You did a great job - exactly what we needed! Please feel free to use us as a reference. Please thank your team who goes the extra mile. This stuff matters! Roxy may be going to the flatlands of the coast as she rides out her years, but she - and my family - are going happy as we know we're are going to get there safely.
