While he got the job done effectively, there was no encouragement or reassurance provided during a sensitive life transition. I felt the interactions were almost cold and unfeeling due to being overly task focused and professional. While he effectively completed the process in a timely manner, I personally felt a bit uncomfortable at the seeming lack of compassion demonstrated. The task driven professionalism made an already sensitive time a bit heavier to carry. I'd recommend this attorney if you're strictly task driven, but not if you're seeking to feel like a partner through difficult times.

Our infant granddaughter was the victim of a horrific crime committed by her mother, our daughter…read more After our other 2 gdaughters were removed from their parent's custody, we sought visitation. Opposing counsel informed him from the start they wanted us gone. The close relationship he has with opposing counsel took priority over representing us. (he mentioned it many, many times) I was accused, by them of seeing injuries on my gdaughter and ignoring them. The fact of the matter is I was banned from seeing her because I had called the police to check on her. He did nothing to stop them from repeatedly making this false, slanderous lie. (numerous times to the judge ) They falsified reports which he easily could have disputed by simply requesting records but he refused to do so. An evaluation I had by a doctor contained OVER 3 1/2 DOZEN errors, all of which I can prove. (Eval even said I was violent/suicidal when i have NO history of either) He did absolutely nothing. He filed incorrect motions. He did nothing each time the other side was caught lying. The other side said I was rude to our gdaughter's adoptive parents. And I was. I literally feared saying anything to them, knowing opposing counsel wanted us gone and had stooped to slinging lies and false accusations against us.

He didn't BS his way through to get my hopes up. Although the process of everything was very long, he was able to make the processes feel much faster. He had all of the information needed and was able to get me in and out through every court date scheduled. I am truly grateful to have gotten to know Paul as well as have him represent me. There isn't any other attorney that could have done as great of a job nor anyone that would have gone above and beyond as Paul had done for me. I highly recommend his services to anyone struggling with legal issues. In addition to everything, Carolina was great at communicating with me and very kind. With her kindness and communication, she added to the ease I was feeling towards the entire process I was going through.

I asked him if they could legally lock me out of my house without serving papers. He explained that there was nothing I could do. That I had to file bankruptcy and get a divorce. Needless to say, l Lost my house and filed for a divorce. Then after paying him over $1,000 for bankruptcy. I found out I didn't have to go through with the Bankruptcy. Which I didn't. Because my mortgage company was doing illegal dealings. Which is what I asked Curtis to do. But he never checked into like I asked to. A year later the mortgage company had a law sued against them and I received a check. But that didn't get my house back, or my marriage. Or pay for the Divorce and all of the problems I went through. Hopefully he's a better lawyer now.

I first connected with this office back in May requesting to work with Ms. Smith. I was directed to…read moreMatthew S. Kopecki. I had one long conversation where I ended up paying $1,700 to retain him. 2 months later I did not hear anything from him. This is all for a relocation custody battle I have been having with my sons father for for emotional, mental and physical abuse. I called the office everyday for a week leading to the day before I was scheduled to pick up my son. It wasn't until I refused to hang up the phone where I was able to speak with Matthew. And had to tell him I was not hanging up until he assisted me to pick up my son for July 1st because his father kept telling my son that he wasn't allowed to come with me. I was able to pick up my son after Herculean efforts that I told Matthew would be needed. I have not heard nor spoken to Matthew until today August 15th so you have an idea of the lack of professionalism and common curtesy Over 45 days later. I've sent his PA Tina several emails to which she only responded to one stating she hadn't heard anything from court yet. From August 10-14th I called his office every single day and left voicemails and was able to speak to the receptionist and his PA again Tina saying he was on a call so he couldn't respond. My son has been physically and emotionally abused which is why he no longer wanted to go be with his dad. This morning my sons father was threatening my son through text. Since he refuses to co-parent with me my son told him to call my attorney. He sent Matthew an email. Matthew called me about half an hour ago stating dad sent him an email. I reminded Matthew that I have been calling him all week because my son does not want to go back to PA. Matthew told me my son doesn't have the right to make that decision. I reminded him that I have been calling him and emailing Tina for weeks looking for his legal counsel because he is my lawyer.I expected a respectful response. Instead he started laughing at me and mimicking me for being emotional about my sons case. Saying " I'm trying to help you but you're not listening" as he laughed at me for being emotional. I then asked again I have been calling you expecting legal counsel and you have not responded. He said he never received the message. So not only is he negligent but now it's my problem that his staff is negligent. I am $2,000 in with this office and have received zero guidance and he could not care less about the well being of my son. It's disgraceful to even have this type of legal representation and it be allowed to continue. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Attached I have a screenshot of the email attempts showing no response as well. Thank you Matthew Kopecki for teaching people it's okay to pay you while you do not reciprocate respect for your clients! O
