Well after a year of continuances due to many reasons like him (Kevin Feeney) not finishing a letter of reconsideration that he had over a month to complete, or him stating that he's "waiting for the DA to get back to him" multiple times, etc. It never seems to be his fault for any delays. Oh and if you wanted any information on your case before the court date then you'll probably have to call and leave messages multiple times for him to contact you and if he does, he emails you. You basically have to be upset in order to get him on the phone. Not something you thought would happen with someone you're paying $3500 to. In the end, when he gave up because things didn't go the way he wanted, I was forced to plea to a charge that Mr. Feeney said "wasn't worth fighting". I was not only surprised with this info 5 minutes before being called up to the stand (the day of court with no heads up whatsoever), but isn't that what I'm paying you for, is to fight for me? This is all for a relocation custody battle I have been having with my sons father for for emotional, mental and physical abuse. And had to tell him I was not hanging up until he assisted me to pick up my son for July 1st because his father kept telling my son that he wasn't allowed to come with me. I was able to pick up my son after Herculean efforts that I told Matthew would be needed. I have not heard nor spoken to Matthew until today August 15th so you have an idea of the lack of professionalism and common curtesy Over 45 days later. I've sent his PA Tina several emails to which she only responded to one stating she hadn't heard anything from court yet. From August 10-14th I called his office every single day and left voicemails and was able to speak to the receptionist and his PA again Tina saying he was on a call so he couldn't respond. My son has been physically and emotionally abused which is why he no longer wanted to go be with his dad. This morning my sons father was threatening my son through text. Since he refuses to co-parent with me my son told him to call my attorney. He sent Matthew an email. Matthew called me about half an hour ago stating dad sent him an email. I reminded Matthew that I have been calling him all week because my son does not want to go back to PA. Matthew told me my son doesn't have the right to make that decision. I reminded him that I have been calling him and emailing Tina for weeks looking for his legal counsel because he is my lawyer.I expected a respectful response. Instead he started laughing at me and mimicking me for being emotional about my sons case. Saying " I'm trying to help you but you're not listening" as he laughed at me for being emotional. I then asked again I have been calling you expecting legal counsel and you have not responded. He said he never received the message. So not only is he negligent but now it's my problem that his staff is negligent. I am $2,000 in with this office and have received zero guidance and he could not care less about the well being of my son. It's disgraceful to even have this type of legal representation and it be allowed to continue. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Using this firm was one of the WORST mistakes I made in my divorce. When I first talked to…read moreAttorney Banks, he stated that I would receive a response within 2 business days. During my 9 month time with this firm, this was a rarity. The normal response time was at least a week and sometimes even longer. My attorney was 90 minutes late for our first two appointments and the second one I did not receive any communication that he was going to be late. Because of the delayed response time and being tardy for my appointments, Attorney Banks talked to me and assured that this would not happen again and I would receive much quicker responses. We also talked about me receiving a credit of $150 because of this experience. The next day I reached out to my attorney asking for a simple response and didn't get a response within two days so I texted the main number and Attorney Banks. He called me back that day with an attitude and accused me of being passive aggressive. Unfortunately, the responses continued to be extremely delayed. According to my ex-wife's attorney, they never received any of my recent financial statements that I had provided to the firm months ago. I finally decided to share all of these documents and updated spreadsheet to my ex-wife. Less than a week later, my lawyer stated that they agreed to this offer with 3 minor changes. I emailed my lawyer stating that I was fine with these changes. Learned over a week later that he never got back to my ex-wife's lawyer so I made the changes myself and emailed it to both lawyers. My ex-wife lawyer stated that he could not do anything based on emails from me since I still had representation. Because of this, I fired my lawyer at this firm and finalized the details on my own. I never received my $150 credit and took almost two months to get my remaining retainer returned to me. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!
