It was a stop on the way back home, but you can easily spend a few hours here browsing. Even leaving, everyone commented that they'd come back to it. Maybe just with more spending money. If you need to go present shopping, get your gift giving ideas here. With so much for your eyes to glaze over, bed frames, dishes, lace, a room full of movie memorabilia (where I spent majority of my time), old school cameras, and so much more; you are sure to find something here. When you exit the main Packing House building, follow the signs and just outside is an outdoor village, with can you guess- even more shops. I only took a brief walk around to see the premises, but I could not believe there were so many antique shops all in one place. Hungry for a nibble? There's a cool cafe that is an old train car in between the Packing House and the village. It's located directly outside of the Tyabb train station, and my whole visit here caught my expectations off guard.

For those who are checking every nook & cranny, they have kindly organised a cafe (Elixir) in the middle-back of the Packing House and there is also the Red Rattler train carriage food outlet as well as toilets onsite. Since stumbling upon their store I have literally stalked them on their Instagram page. Everything they sell there are just beautiful unique pieces and are all very very dangerous. So.much.want. They stock products from local and Jon local designer and are happy to source things for you. Their handmade pieces ( like the beautiful skirt and soft jacket) are just gorgeous with enough quirk and personality. Most are one size but they told me that they are happy to resize them to fit you. I was met by Frank at the shop and he is just the most gracious and welcoming business owner. Even if you are just browsing or admiring. You'll be surprised at what you find. I love love love this shop.

Organic French bed linens, Italian sodas, Mexican bunting, luxurious clothing, leather bags... and they're mostly all expensive. Unfortunately it's also shops like these than remind me that I have a beer budget and can't afford to take everything home. There's plenty that you won't need to sell your soul for, though, so definitely take a look and be inspired for your next home decoration or required gift giving.

I believe most animals are rescued and the small entry fee keeps this place running. At 11, 1 and 3pm the keeper shows the animals and we got to pat Matilda the wombat, koalas. There's a kennel too so it was loud at times, didn't damper the excitement though. We arrived an hour before closing time, but the lady at the ticketing booth was very accommodating and kind. It was just us and one more party still around. There are tons of birds and some are very chatty. You'll also find dingos, foxes, wombats...etc. Some of the kangaroos are allowed to roam in a particular area so you can get up close and personal, but don't step on any tails now. But let's face it, you're here mostly for the koalas. They are sooo fuzzy to the touch. One of them was eating and pooping at the same time!!! Talk about multitasking. I guess it's not the sanctuary's fault when their stars misbehave lol.

They had some pretty nice works here, and a decent sized collection as well. Hey, they even had some older works, something that I tend to quite appreciate. The staff were also quite helpful, and one of the great things about this place is that it is absolutely free. Yeah, I really do like free art galleries.
