This is my first experience w ESI. One technician came w an associate and when the lead, sought…read moreadvice, the head guy was contacted and this warrants a 5 star. Excellent troubleshooting on an electrical matter. The drop comes in the office, as tunnel vision focuses on sales. I have a fully functioning inverter. I don't need two. In connecting the inverter it's neutral and hot wires cross. Maybe, I'll still have them complete the project. Enough details were left out for me not to be apt to hastily do so. I'm all for a locally managed yard that seeks the best possible outcome.

I arranged to have my boat serviced while I was out of town for two weeks, and they didn't take the…read moreboat into the yard until after I returned from my trip. The yard was completely disorganized, and they seemed to have difficulties with fairly simple tasks such as installing a new water pump. When I finally received an invoice I went over it item-by-item with the yard manager to make sure what services had been rendered. He apologized that some of the entries were hard to follow, stating that some of his technicians didn't have a thorough command of English. I paid the invoice immediately, but then, a week later, received a second invoice that attempted to charge me for work that had been completed (and paid for) on the first invoice. It took me days to convince them that there's no way they could have reinstalled the lower unit twice, especially not when the boat was back in dry storage when they claimed to have done the work a second time. Bottom line, they were the worst experience I've had with a boat yard after a lifetime of boat ownership.

This couple is nothing short of amazing. After asking four other brokers in the Anacortes area if…read morethey could sell our 30-year old 32-foot boat and being told by each one in turn that they couldn't, but they had a name of someone who might, these two stepped up. Not only were they happy to take it on, they ended up having a covered slip we could moor it in while we waited for it to sell. A previous boat we owned took about a year to sell with another broker, and we were listing our boat in the Fall, so I was highly skeptical when they assured us our boat would sell quickly. I didn't think anyone would even look at it before the Spring. I was happily proven wrong. Not only did they report several lookers within weeks of it being listed, they had a prospective buyer by December. We had a potential issue with the closing taking place while we were out of country, but they helped us work around that issue and ensure that the boat ended up sold. If you're looking to sell (or buy) a boat in the La Connor/Anacortes/San Juans area, these are the people to work with.

We just sold our boat through LaConner Yacht Sales, and I want to thank Marcie, Art and Carter for…read moretheir professional handling of the transaction. Our boat was a 53 year old wooden boat and it sold in less than 3 months. Older wooden boats can be on the market for years! Marcie and Art worked with us to establish a realistic pricing and sales strategy. If You want to sell your boat and are willing to listen to your broker's advice, Please give the folks at La Conner Yacht Sales a call. They are centrally located in NW Washington, on the Docks in La Conner.
