I have only ever used self tanning lotion before so I came in with a ton of questions today for my first tanning bed experience. Luckily, Jacquline at the front desk was so patient and helpful! Awful customer service. I walk in and instantly get dirty looks. I did not feel comfortable being in there for 2 seconds. To make it worse, the Management here needs to be retrained on how they talk to there employees or honestly fired. I was tanning and over heard the two girls screaming at another employee. This is harassment and I would be careful with who you're allowing to manage at your salons. Not only is that embarrassing for your brand, but they are obviously all following the managers footsteps. If my managers ever acted the way they did, I would be rehiring all of them. This used to be my favorite salon, but I will never support a business that allows harassment. This is disgusting and Awful behavior. I will be letting everyone I know to take their business somewhere else. read more

3 stars because the place is very clean and the employee here was great. But my spray tan is heinous. I arrived clean, used primer, barrier cream where needed, followed directions, didn't get sweaty afterward, and waited the specified time before showering. I look like an Oompa Loompa with Vitiligo. Huge blotches of dark orange in random spots like the front of my stomach and fronts of my thighs. Streaks down my arms and legs. Huge patches down my neck and chest. It's really gross. I can't really go anywhere until it fades. I tried calling because I paid $40 for this trash but there's no way to contact them by phone. Guess I'll try emailing them. Cant speak on the beds but DO NOT get a spray here. read more

Proper upkeep and maintenance is not being done on the equipment. every tanning bed I have been in has broken buttons which makes it difficult to push the start stop button or turn the fans up and down. Makes you wonder what else is wrong and going on. I have had a membership there for several years and the don't hesitate to withdraw my fees every month even when COVID forced them to be closed and I was unable to use their services. There is no need for them to have defective equipment. read more

Fake friendly staff in one direction only and that's if you are buying. The last thing they'll ever help you with is making the most of your membership or making sure you understand the rules around cancellation. Been driving to this location for 3 months from Olympia to use up my membership. Do you think anyone would mention that I could cancel my membership and simply use my tans? Their cancellation policy is a huge rip off. Their signs are false advertising the tell you one month unlimited tanning however what they don't tell you is the membership is for their base bed which they won't even let you use unless you start with a level 5 first which is $15/tan. The way they have their monthly fees are bull. It states no refunds on their memberships even if you cancel before the 15th, you will still be charged an entire whole month. I will never ever go there again. If anyone is looking for a tanning salon, go to tropical tan instead. read more

Sure you can buy a package but every time you come in they will try to sell you some upgrade! For a tanning salon each sales girl is a nuclear physicist when is comes to tanning. Each time I have taken my kid in they have try to smooth talk her into some new package and how it will never expire regardless of how many times we have said she is just doing it for a vacation. First off, I like this place because it's close to La Fitness. I usually work out then go tan afterwards. I like all the people that work in there, they all friendly. When I first came to this place I bought level five package deal since I don't like beginner beds. Sometimes when I come and bed is busy, I usually don't wait. They offer me another bed instead. I like to explore new beds. After my package was over, I decided to cancel my membership with them. Then August came along and they had founder sale and deals was too good. I could not resist but to buy it. My favorite bed is sun angel. It's custom bed. It adjusts to your skin color and has music playing while you tan. read more

I've been tanning at seattle sun tan since I was a teen, I just took a few years off and now I'm back at it. Everyone is so nice and so knowledgeable. They kept all of my tans I had on my account even though I was inactive for so long. Tonight I finally bought myself a new lotion with their amazing sale, I feel terrible I didn't catch the gals name who helped me but she's the cute red head she is super knowledgeable about the lotions and was able to explain them to me, she recommended one I absolutely love already. I'm super happy I decided to come back to SST, it's always a pleasant experience thanks ladies!! read more

The girls were friendly and helpful and didn't pressure me to buy anything i wasn't there for. The salon was clean and had a lot of options. I paid the same price I saw online and was apparently given bonus money on my account which was nice because last time I went into a chain tanning salon I remember the high pressure sales feeling of a dessert sun. Always sub-par cleanliness, when I tried to cancel my membership was told that I would still have to pay one more month when their "policy" about canceling before the 31st was NEVER told to me and the girl explaining was very rude and acted like my questions were an inconvenience to her. I'm cancelling my membership and will stop going to tan there as well. read more

I LOVE this location and I've been to all of them in Puyalluo, Sumner and Bonney lake! Nick and Chelsea are my favorite!! The manager is amazing too but I forget her name ‍. They are so friendly and are always working hard to keep the place clean and quick to get people through even when it's busy. Anytime I've had any issues with bulbs being out etc... they've credited my account to ensure I didnt waist a tan. They also change their bulbs OFTEN! I buy a lot of lotions and typically buy the $400 or $200 package when I purchase but I never feel pressured to if they ask. They only time it gets crazy with selling is when they have big sales going on, which I usually take advantage of anyway. If you're in the market for beds or sunless, check them out! I do both and LOVE my results read more

I just have to say... I've been tanning since i was a bed cleaner at age 15 at a little mom and pop shop in Tacoma/ Puyallup and I'm 31... I've tried many different locations and usually hop between canyon and sunrise... the membership is great especially because you can put your account on hold for $5/ month and SST will match that amount when you unfreeze... but,..... NEVER EVER HAVE I HAD SERVICE LIKE I DID TONIGHT.. usually the visits are just normal....ABBY WAS AMAZING! best informative sales person I've ever been helped by and I had no issue spending $170 because of her confidence in what she was offering. As long as she's at this location.. no more jumping around for me. thanks girl! keep it up read more

I went in for a spray tan before vacation. It didn't stick to my legs for some reason. The girls at this location were WONDERFUL in helping me to find a solution - they offered for me to go to another location to have my legs touched up & then offered for a spray can to go with me on vacation since I was leaving the day after the tan. Love the location of this salon, it's close to LA Fitness and makes it convenient to stop by after s workout. The Level 2 Beds are pretty good and the maximum time is only 15 minutes, so you can go on lunch if you work close enough. They have a fairly good selection of lotions and products, but they only carry a few brands. I wish the supplied the goggles, but I understand it's for sanitary reasons. They also have a StandUp Bed and a Hydro Therapy Bed too. No appointment necessary, check them out! read more

This is a really nice new facility, although there are not speakers/radios in the rooms. The tanning is definitely pricier than some other places, but it is worth it for the quality of the equipment and service. They are good about actually replacing bulbs regularly so you get your money's worth out of a session. The service quality is usually good to excellent, but it really depends on who is working at the time. Some of the people are really pushy about selling packages, but I did ask them to notate on my account that I am not interested in buying lotions which has stopped the sales pitches for the most part. The beds and equipment are nice, newer and clean (some of beds have stuff under the glass, so kind of unavoidable). Good service and a nice place overall! read more

I called and scheduled an appointment for an air brush tan. I live closer to 2 other locations. She specifically told me to arrive at this location when they open. When I arrived the time was not what we discussed. They could not do the air brush. They sent me to the location by my house. read more

I have literally tried every tanning salon on meridian and this is the best, friendliest and cleanest salon in South Hill. I love them! I took a year long break and they still remembered my name.. After an entire year! Chelsea is one of my favs. I'm pretty sure she can make anyone feel like family. They have a ton of different beds at this location too. Level 3 bed is my favorite and gets you the darkest. read more

I've been twice now and each time they were so kind! I'm 40 and haven't been in years. I was intimidated to go as I figured it would be a "younger cooler" scene. Both times I had different people and each time I felt so great!
