We were in Seaside and did not realize that grocery stores didn't sell alcohol. Friendly and helpful!

I would definitely recommend Seaside Liquor. Not only are the employees super helpful, but they're also very nice!

Good service. Has most anything you would want. May have to go searching for it but it's worth it.

Great selection of spirits. I have always liked this store....... well the parking lot is steep but there is plenty of parking. The employees have always been awesome and on our last visit, we witnessed a person refused service do to not having I.D. that matches a Debit Card. Our information is all current and matches. The clerk got close enough to our I.D. to make sure. My Wife thanked her for being certain. So many clerks don't care. I could just wonder around this store looking at their awesome stock of spirits for hours. The employees would probably frown on that behavior but I would still like to. I guess I'll have to make a bunch of small visits. read more

I've always thought that the most important day of my life was the day my daughter was born, until Bob, the owner of Seaside liquor bestowed upon me the greatest gift I've ever received; a bottle of Stagg Jr bourbon. I haven't even had a chance to open the bottle, in fact, since this was obviously a sign from god, I may never open the bottle. All I know is that Bob is now my best friend in the entire world and I would happily take a bullet for this amazing man. You need to come to Seaside to buy all your liquor because Bob is a bonafide saint. The store is heaven on earth and Bob, as far as I am concerned is god. As a single female traveling alone... I dont appreciate Kenneth stopping the (female) clerk from ringing up my transaction and not allowing me to sign for my debt card, which is a standard transaction, and much desired when I have transients looking over my shoulder to see my pin#. Good job Kenneth... refusing my signature and making a big scene about it, trying to intimidate me in front of patrons, nothing like a "Good Old Boy" telling a woman what she can and can not do, which was done with the same finesse as a Jack Ass! read more

We were rocking out to Led Zeppelin (not Robert Plant LOL) and chatting about the talents of Robert Plant as a solo artist with the staff (we think the owner). We had a great experience speaking to the owner as we selected some locally made distilled spirits. As minorities from Los Angeles, this was just an "at home" experience. Searching for tequila here there and everywhere! So I was hunting for tequila on my road trip, and lo! a bottle I was hunting was not available in Portland, but it was out here on the coast! So we took the very scenic route back to BC, along the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Stopped in here, the ladies at the counter were pretty funny, and of course I got my tequila. Nice selection! I look forward to stopping in next summer when I return to Seaside!! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would! I came here with my husband last month as he wanted some liquor while we were on vacation. Upon walking into the store, two employees were having a personal conversation upon which one of the employees was dropping f bombs left and right. We heard it literally as we walked through the door! That was our greeting, rather than a hello. She was bad mouthing the owners as the other employee with glasses just looked on and kept listening rather than telling her to stop. It was as if she enjoyed it. The other employee busy dropping curse words left and right, her favorite of course being the f bomb and calling the owners mother f ers was complaining about how she was getting married soon and I guess would have to move her wedding day or something due to a scheduling conflict. I get that she is getting married, but this is a personal conversation to have with her boss or manager in private, not out in the open for everyone to hear and certainly not using language like that. I was SO uncomfortable that I wanted to leave. I practically BEGGED my husband to go. It was like walking into the wrong part of a conversation that you felt like you interrupted when all we were trying to do was shop. We will NOT be back! I don't care if we have to drive out of the way. I felt bad for the owners being bad mouthed like that. read more

Not only does Seaside Liquor Store have good prices, selection and friendly service, but after buying a bottle there, I went outside and set the bottle in the car. I was smoking while waiting for friends to finish up inside. when I opened the car door, the bottle fell out and shattered. i went in to buy another bottle and they insisted on giving me the bottle for free, even after I told them it was my fault that it broke. In my experience no other liquor store has showed so much kindness. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE & SELECTION EVER!!! My favorite liquor store in the state of Oregon. These guys helped to acquire a very hard to get bottle of Scotch and stood by their word to 'HOLD' it for me until the date I said I would arrive to purchase despite other Scotch noobs apparently trying to buy it out from under me knowing it was on hold there. Had another OR liquor store tell me they would hold something for me only to sell it anyway and never tell me. I frequent the OR coast every summer and this liquor store is the only one I shop at. I just had the worst customer service experience I have ever had with the staff and management at this establishment. I had the unfortunate luck of dropping my bottle of bourbon at the entryway of my hotel room that I had just purchased from said liquor store. I went back to the liquor store to have the bottle replaced and was treated as if I had some sort of communicable disease. I shouldn't have to explain to the staff that the seal was never broken and therefore they would be able to get credit for the bottle from the distributor. They should already know that. Regardless of them kowing or not knowing, they did not offer to replace my bottle free of charge. Again, remember they will get a credit from the distributor for the broken bottle. The "manager", Tracy, seemed to have no consideration for these facts. I asked her if she has ever had to deal with a circumstance like this before. She said yes, once before a lady dropped a bottle in the parking lot, she saw it happen and therefore replaced the bottle. I said, So, because you didn't see this bottle break, you will not replace it? To that, she said yes. Regardless of whether or not Tracy saw the bottle break should not be a factor. For the owner's sake, who apparently is out of town and unreachable via phone, I certainly hope this is not a reflection of how he runs his business. I work in the customer service industry and I personally understand and am commited to making sure every one of my customers leaves feeling that their needs were met and that they want to come back to my business. My Husband and I come to Seaside often and have never had a bad experience in this town until now. I will not be shopping at this establishment again and I will be telling anyone and everyone who will listen to not shop at this establishment. I hope that $23 is worth it. read more

We will go out of our way to avoid the Seaside Liquor Store. Was a regular customer for years, after which I was treated rudely, and unprofessionally. It was our intention to purchase a very expensive, celebratory bottle of whisky. I was told I must pay hundreds of dollars more than labeled in their locked cabinet. I questioned this, took the label, and asked to speak to the owner. I was refused, and told that the police would be called if I didn't surrender the label. Really? I left my name and phone number. Did I receive a call? You already know the answer to that. I would still be interested in speaking with Mr. O'Leary, but I'm not holding my breath. read more
