My washer drain pump washer replace but Now my washer leaks my dryer was only serviced and cleaned and when it was put back together power comes on but it will not operate all it does is click when I called they said they will send someone out to repair the washer but if it's new parts then I have to pay for them however the dryer they will not send someone back out they want me to pay for the technician to come back out and fix what their technician damaged so it does not work. They were a contractor sent out by home warranty. They arrived on time When they arrive. several previous appointments were rescheduled but idk if this was warranty company or Sears??? The 2nd repair person on visit 2 tried everything to fix my broken range. He even called supervisor. Unfortunately my range had to be replaced and he was an advocate of it being replaced instead of continuing attempts to fix. My warranty replaced my range with a new one which was installed today by another contractor. I cannot speak on 1st visit as I wasn't home when that repair person came and ordered parts. read more

Upate: the very next day I had another appliance repair company come out and they actually took the washer apart to actually diagnos the issue properly. It was determined then that the filter/basket was completely clogged and needed to be cleaned. The drain motor & implellor was fine and did not need to be replaced at all. Once cleaned & reassembled the washer drained perfectly. Total cost for the repair was $124. Sears didn't even attempt to disassemble the washer to look at it but merely said it's a 'weak implellor and motor needs to be replaced'. A diagnosis made without ever even looking inside the machine. Sears technician was just there to do the absolute minimum amount of work (which in this case was absolutely nothing!) And to collect the largest amount of money he could get out of me. I wouldn't let Sears Appliance Service work on a child's Easy Bake Oven. They are just a ripoff to the consumer! the blower motor was locked up. unit has been off for over a week. tech came this morning, took cover off turned unit on and blower motor started making a loud noise. tech left with unit running but very noisy. wife complained it hurt her ears repeatedly while tech was here. less than an hour after he left motor locked up again. called him (Richard)he said ok we need a motor We get a claim denial from chw stating that our swirl cage is damaged and needs replacement This is a brand-new blower wheel AND THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! The damn motor is bad, and he knew the motor was bad before he left because he gave us a estimate on a new motor. he told us to go to hancock supply and get one for around $250.00 -270.00. if he got it he would have to charge us $450.00 plus labor. I sent in a complaint for to a 1FE error code. I reset the refrigerator every time it throws that code ever couple of days. The tech asks what code is it giving and to call us back when it's not working. Do they not read the initial comment in the complaints? Very unhappy with the lack of service or the lack there of . I must say the young man that came by our house to service. our washer was respectful and attentive and also informed. Even though it took him a while to assess the problem and fix it; in the end, he recommended the washer be replaced. And he also handled that in a timely fashion. Upon arrivAl, my repair by Gemiah was completed quickly. He was friendly and knowledgeable of his duties. My 1 star is a result of Sears Home Services In general. No one has all day to wait on a repair. Their system is very flawed. the window of service arrival is between 7:00 am-6:00 pm. The morning of your repair, you will be given an estimated time of arrival. it took me over 2 months, and 7 appointments to FINALLY get my stove repaired! Every technician that visited was friendly, but Sears is not efficient. After 7 attempts since the first week of January to repair my broken stove, I can tell you, your estimated arrival time on text link will constantly be adjusted and you can even be skipped and forced to reschedule. The drivers aren't given control of their territory and there is no local Sears number to contact. You will be forced to speak so someone in a call center overseas if you have an issue. After being stood up in January, I spent an exhausting amount of time trying to get someone out the next day. I finally got someone on the phone in a different country, who told me my parts weren't at my home. I told him I was looking at the two packages, and their system allowed me to make the appointment because I had the parts. dont expect anything to happen in a timely manner. well I am giving this because the service was not completed. changed everything then tells us the wires were chewed by rats so they could not complete the job and for us to do it or get someone to do it. so my husband took the panel off within a hour of them leaving and the wires were not rat chewed they were cut on both ends. so therefore they cut them and no we still have no freezer and my husband hooked the wires back after having to purchase stuff to connect them and freezer runs but does not cool we are thinking they never put coolant in compressor. so as of right now we still have no freezer that we purchased less than a year! would love someone to contact us about what to do next read more

So far very unhappy. I have an American Freight extended warranty on my washer/dryer laundry unit. Last year: Great service regarding repair issues that were covered under the warranty. This year: ????? What is going on? Is American Freight going out of business? Latest sad tale in trying to get my yearly, warrantied maintenance to take place on my washer/drier unit is the following: Twice, one day apart, this week, their locally contracted refrigerator repairman has been sent out to perform the maintenance service on my washer and dryer. He even called me and said that he isn't the guy for washers and dryers....He's a refrigerator guy. He made a report of erroneous service tech order being sent out and so did I. Next day, same refrigerator tech got the order for my washer and drier. Rep at American Freight doesn't know why that keeps happening. We will try again for next week to see if a washer/drier tech shows up. My warranty is coming up for renewal. With the downturn this year of reliable warrantied American Freight appliance servicing, I will not renew. And my next appliance purchase with warranty will not be with American Freight. read more

On July 2, 2012 a technician from sears Appliance Repair in Gulfport came out to my house to repair my washer. I helped him empty it out and however I could. It was hot and miserable. This particular technician told me that he couldn't call American home shield (our warranty provider) because he didn't have a serial number of the washer. I was so trusting that, even though I could clearly see big bold numbers on the back of the washer I thought because he was the expert and I wasn't he was right. Nothing got fixed. After he left I looked and it WAS the serial number on the top back of the washer and called my warranty company who told me that I was obviously wrong. We bought a used washer for $30 that had to be changed each cycle of the wash to wash our clothes. The other washer sat in our garage for at least 8 months. We called our warranty company and put in another request for the same washer and when I got the call from THE SAME TECHNICIAN about the service call, at least 8 months later mind you and he asked me "is this the same washer that doesn't have a serial number on it?" I informed him yes but that because the serial number had ALWAYS been clearly visible we would like it fixed. I don't know if he was embarrassed by being caught in a bald face lie but we DID get the new washer we should have gotten to start with. He never came out again though we have made other calls that other sears technicians answered and they have been great. I tried contacting sears and never got a response so here I am. We went all that time without a washer because, for whatever reason he LIED to us AND the home warranty company. We had to pay $ both times to get that washer fixed. read more

Today is the 8th I am feeding a family of 6. What am I supposed to do without a refrigerator for 6 days.
