But it was very obvious she was not patient at all when my little girls joined me for the pictures. She didn't try to do anything or wait for them to smile or even look at the camera to take better pictures. I was very disappointed when I received the CD. There were a lot of pictures in the CD for sure, but we could only find 2-3 OK ones. The pictures didn't bring out the characters. Also she didn't seem to be skillful at handling lighting, etc. The pictures were either dark or blurring. They didn't seem to be pictures taken by photographers at all. I didn't think she did any editing to the pictures. To day, we haven't enlarged any of those pictures that she took, nor have we had the urge to post on facebook or share with family or friends. We have used other photographers before and after her. The difference is very obvious, since we want to enlarge or make almost every single picture taken by other photographers big canvas prints. We will never ever use her again. Luckily we bought a Groupon to use her at first place, so it was not too heart broken.

With the exception of my choice of groom, choosing Elicia as my photographer was the best decision of the day. First and foremost, Elicia's work is gorgeous and absolutely speaks for itself. Each shot is like a work of art. I have never been one to frame photos but I can't imagine not displaying her work on my walls. One of the many things I love about Elicia as a photographer is she doesn't try to stage you using those "standard wedding poses." She will direct you to a spot with amazing light, give you some posing "tips," step back and then just let you and your partner be yourselves. The results are photos that are insanely beautiful but also reflect the couple you are. In addition to being extremely talented, Elicia is the sweetest person!
