Dean and his partner re-installed some carpet for us after completing some remodeling. Since the carpet did not cover the whole floor, they asked how I planned to finish and they installed the carpet edge so that it will accept the LVT and hold it flat without adding any other transition pieces. Then Dean convinced me to let him install the LVT instead of me. I'm glad I let him. He leveled, removed and reinstalled trim and the floor is just what we wanted. read more

Dean and his crew came in and completed a job that had been needing to be finished for a year. He took his time and figured out the pieces I was describing but didn't have the proper language for. My kitchen and hall are finally back in one piece after a year of nothing but subfloor. We are beyond happy that my house is back together after so long. The project finished only a day over and on budget. Dean took the time to explain what was going on and involved me in the decision making process. WORST CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE TO DATE! Do yourself a favor and avoid working with Dean Kociemba and and his crew. I was out of town for military duty and gave them access to my house on 7/12. I officially fired him on 7/23 with his team only having some of the upstairs vinyl plank laid and a single strip on the downstairs of a 1,500 sq. ft. home. They didn't even start working until 4 days after he "claimed" he would start. Dean also unplugged my Security system multiple times or covered cameras with towels so I was unable to monitor my home even after he left for the day. He is not trustworthy and some of my tools and house items are now "missing"? I fired Dean for many reasons including these main causes. 1. Far overdue on the time agreed for (2 weeks) project completion. Start date was 7/12 -- fired 7/23 2. There are 3 large scratches on the floor upstairs and possibly more. Two rooms have vinyl that was not laid flush and end sticks up. Have to now purchase more material to fix this! 3. No covering was placed over floors to protect them from foot traffic or scratches. I have to buy more material to replace his mistakes and also all of the vinyl that was trampled on downstairs with no covering. The work was not done right but yet Dean was constantly begging for more money to "keep him afloat". 3. Terrible memory of what I asked for with the project and didn't even remember that my bathrooms required a completely different vinyl. 4. Limited to no communication throughout project. 5. Extremely unprofessional 6. Messy and loud crew while working, neighbors complained about screws, nails and staples in road. I will reiterate, AVOID DEAN KOCIEMBA and do not hire him for your job unless you want subparo work that takes 3x the amount of time to complete. I had a new contractor in the next day and they fixed Deans's mistakes and also laid the vinyl for the entire downstairs in one day! You get what you pay for as Dean will happily tell you. read more

We've used Dean on four different projects over the years and in every case were very satisfied with the results. Our first project was a very challenging sheet vinyl installation where the sheet vinyl transitioned to carpet on a large arc in the middle of the floor. This was very difficult and came out perfect. Since then we've used Dean to install carpet and LVP, and as before he exceeded our expectations. Dean's strongest point is the quality of his installation. Seamless Dean installed about 1000 sf of LVP flooring in my upstairs and laid carpet on my stairs. Dean takes his time focusing on the details. There was no rush to finish the job like a larger contractor company or big box store. Dean made himself available whenever I called to ask questions. I attempted a solo flooring job on my downstairs and Dean was nice enough to fix many of the problem spots. Recently Dean followed up with me to check in on how I liked the floors. I expressed to him some concerns about the baseboard installation. Dean and Carl (one of his employees) quickly came by and fixed all the problem areas and did other small touchups as well. Carl (one of Deans employees) was very nice to work with. He was courteous and polite to me and my family. We are grateful Carl is part of the Seamless Dean crew. Price. Dean and crew installed LVP in the room above my garage, and did a great job! The transition between flooring and carpet truly is seamless. I ran into the unsurprising supply chain issues, so my flooring took months to get out of the port, but once it arrived, Dean got it installed in half a day. Very pleased with the results. read more
