Bad place to go this church for real. Judgemental to come & service more fast pace. As a whole, fellowship is extinct & nobody greeted me at all. Too much business of how they do things. Like fees to join more than half the bible groups. Sermon was ok to hear. At most the coffee was free really. Too much stress visiting & not recommend to go here.

Wow! They did such a wonderful job. Thought of everything. Even past out waters and prepackaged Hostess Donuts. What's not to love. We should do this every summer. So fun.

Ask the Community - Seacoast Grace Church

Do they have a men's Bible study and/or a singles ministry?

A lot of group events for the taking with good people.

Do people here speak in tongues during the service?

No and unfortunately I'm unaware of any worships that do.

How racially diverse is this church?

I am Hispanic and have been attending SGC since 1999 and I've never felt different. I've seen the church become even more diverse than ever and if anyone's heart is bitter let's pray for them 🙏🏼 because rasim is ugly.

PRO: - a down to earth setting and not over adorn with unnecessary objects - open to the public in the daytimes and anyone can attend or form a praying group sessions there. - Virgin Mary near the end entrance is so pleasant and serene. Anyone can buy candles from the staffs and leave it there. - the mass is pleasant to listen to and they always welcome non religious guests - the staffs are friendly and informative - parking is spacious - a private school for all students CON: - church is not as big as some of the others Side Note* seatings can accommodate a decent amount of people during those special religious holidays - not open in the late evening Side Note* there might be vandalism if opened late Religious or not, I do come here even if there are no Mass that day. I like the quiet, pleasant feel of this secret place. This is my go to place when I needed guidance or assurance in my life. Especially, during those happy, sad, heartbreaking, or anxious moments. I even love the fact that anyone can still come here - Catholic or not....because everyone needs an inner spiritual, safe haven sometimes.

Hi there. About 7…read moreyears ago I moved to the area and it was overwhelming to find a church-- not because of a lack of options, but you can't get a feel for the place from a website. Here's some info I wish I knew about a church before I went to visit... What do we believe? We love Jesus. And people. Stonebridge is a non denominational evangelical church. Actually, this is an area where the website can explain better than I can-- here's the statement of faith and core value outline: http://www.stonebridgecc.org/about-us/what-we-believe What are Sundays like? We meet in an industrial area within the Gibo Kodama Chairs building. There a few signs leading up to the church, parking is plenty and it's easy to find. There's coffee/tea/water before service that you can bring in with you. Service starts at 10:30AM, begins with worship music, announcements, and praying for people. There is a quick "greet your neighbor" time, but they don't ask new people to stand or anything that puts a spotlight on you. The message is typically given by one of our 2 staff pastors, they have pretty different styles. We have a pastor who is in his 20s and single, and another who is... well, I don't know how old (I'm not going to ask!), but all his kids are out of college. They both overflow with the love of Jesus and bring great perspectives to the Bible. How long will I be there? Service ends before noon, but stay for refreshments! It's a light lunch and we love getting to know people during this time. Lots of people will greet you and you definitely won't sit alone. This fellowship time wraps up around 1PM-ish, though you're welcome to leave whenever you like. Who are they? A loving, super casual, accepting group of about 100ish multi-generational people. I know, I'm sure all churches say that... People come from all walks of life. I know this because they share openly on where they've been and what they struggle with now. There are people who wanted to go to church, but didn't think they could because of what they were doing in their life, and they say Stonebridge is the one church where they felt comfortable and accepted. No need to clean up your life first or put on a happy face. Just come, be real, and we want to know you for who you are. I love how our church loves people. Most people are in shorts and flip flops even on those few days it rains. We're casual and there's no need to dress up. Come as you are! It's such a blessing to be at a multi-generational church. We have kids, youth, young adults, and adults of all ages. I'm so blessed by the wisdom of those older than me and that I can hang out with and invest in our youth. We don't have cliques, we're not big enough to have that struggle. Everyone talks to everyone. That said, our age groupings are not big-- there's usually about 5-10 kids in our children's ministry (occurs during Sunday service, though kids are welcome in Sunday service if they like), 10-20 in our young adult group, etc. Oh yeah, and a lot of people here like Hockey. The church used to be next to The Rinks in Huntington Beach. When should I go? Come for Sunday service. There are weeknight meetings as well (Small groups, youth group, college group, etc.), but it's easiest to come on a Sunday and meet a few people then. Service is at 10:30AM and there's a Bible study at 9AM if you'd like to join then. If you come, ask for Kristen (that's me)! See? You already know someone at Stonebridge :)

We've been attending this church for about six or seven months now. I have two teens--one 15 and…read moreone 13--and overall, it's been an outstanding experience. The biggest reason? Pastor Joe. His leadership is exceptional, and it truly shows throughout the entire church. I recommend checking out the Church's YouTube channel and his teachings, especially his series on the Gospel of Matthew. Watching those will give you a sense of his teaching style, personality, and what the worship services are like. My teens are genuinely engaged and seem to be developing real, growing relationships with the Lord. I've honestly never seen anything quite like it. The youth groups and teens all meet on a Thursday night, not on Sunday at Sunday school. This allows them to be in the service with their parents on Sundays to get acclimated to the word of God that is being taught. I really appreciate that Pastor Joe teaches straight from the Bible--he literally has it in hand and doesn't rely on a pulpit or laptop. He's also a professor at a Christian university and holds a doctorate in divinity with a focus on Old Testament studies. His preaching centers on authentic Christianity--what it means to live daily in relationship with God through Jesus, the Messiah. For those who want to take their faith seriously, this church is a great place to be, and I truly love that. There are also many groups and classes you can join to learn and grow alongside others. I haven't noticed anything theologically off, overly charismatic, dry, or unbiblical. I know what it's like to search for a good church! It sucks! It's like having to date somebody for three or four times only to find out they're not the one to keep. Overall, I'm confident that this is a truly solid place to grow in your faith.
