Letizia had our backs through the whole process. Any colors, specific flowers, foods, decor, if I had a request, she made it happen. She also knew key questions to ask. I loved that we went through the entire ceremony and reception so there were no surprises. We live very far from the Rose Creek Cottage, so it was such a relief that she took care of all the logistics. Literally, the day before, we came in to approve the venue. It is cozy and rustic, antique as if lost in time, it felt magical. We didn't have lift a finger--setup, ushering, food service, cleanup--everything was take care of and we just got to enjoy our special day. The day of, the only thing we had to do was show up with our suits and gowns. Makeup, hair, photography, officiant, DJ, decor, everything was all there for us. And the food!! We thought tacos and s'mores sounded fun, but what we got was gourmet. We forgot to mention that we were going to do a toast, but they scrambled to make it happen. Anything I wanted was an ask away. I hope to make a visit down there on our first anniversary, it would be wonderful to relive such a happy day.

Small and cute venue for a wedding ceremony…read more Attended my friend's wedding here and it was a touching and intimate experience. Definitely meant for a smaller wedding, but it accommodated the group of people that attended. Parking can be limited since there's only a small lot to the side, and the road nearby is SUPER busy and missing turns is very likely, so keep this in mind for future planning. Lots of cute opportunities at the front and the side for photos, as well as inside the venue and in the courtyard area as well. Restrooms are in the chapel and there's a powder room too. Chapel has a couple of pew seats and they can pull some chairs for you. Courtyard outside has a small space for around 6-7 round tables and a gazebo for the couple to sit under with a large LOVE light sign behind them. I guess there was never any assigned seating arranged prior which led to some awkward standing and our party being split, but I guess that just wasn't factored into the planning and they did their best to accommodate after the fact. DJ was up in front near the bride and groom, off to the side was the catered food and DJ would call us up in tables to grab dinner and eventually dessert. Staff were on point with clearing up the tables and passing out the champagne to toast. It got chilly as the sun began to set, but they wheeled out those warmers, so that was pretty nice. I think my only other qualm was that the arrangement of the courtyard was a bit awkward, since DJ next to couple meant it was harder to speak to them since the music was blasting next to them and by virtue the dancefloor was near the DJ, making it in front, and a whole all eyes on you situation. Just small things. Overall, it was a lovely venue to celebrate such a wonderful moment in my friends' lives.

So we asked to schedule a viewing/ practice. They said there was no point in coming to practice or view the chapel because we had no bridesmaids or groomsmen and what we saw in the pictures is what we got + they were going to charge us. So I knew it was small and I knew how it looked. But what we did not know was the Chapel was on the second floor. The steps and railing were extremely dirty. And my dress would get caught on some sharp part of the railings. We were told that they would have a speaker to play music as I walked down the aisle. The speaker they had was sooooo old like one of those you can put a disc in. While walking down our music was crackinggg. I was genuinely so embarrassed. The ceremony went fine. But for some reason we were told to come back. So after walking out and having our moment we were told to walk back in and have our guest stare at us. We were so confused and embarrassed. So now we live with that memory and cringe sadly.

After being there for 1.5 hours, I left with a stack of magazines, vendor information, a wedding resource book, and a better idea of what I wanted for my wedding. Leah helped me a lot in having me rank the different wedding related items to see what was important to me. This helped me with determining my budget and made me realize what was important for me to include in the wedding. Leah also followed up with me on certain vendors after our appointment and was always willing to help. The only downside with The Bridal Bar is that they only recommend vendors that pay them to advertise their services. Since they are in La Jolla, a number of the vendors are on the pricier side. There's no expense to you to use their services though, so I definitely recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in San Diego.

Despite not knowing them, I did not feel the least bit uncomfortable sharing such an intimate occasion with them. We got married at the La Jolla location, and it was gorgeous. We arrived a little bit late due to traffic (fourth of July weekend, we didn't account for that well enough), and they were understanding of that. They were both very professional, and very caring. Our ceremony was beautiful. It was short and simple, yet not too short. They also gave us a beautiful little gift as a keepsake for our day. After the ceremony, we thanked them, took a few pictures, and said goodbye to them, and my husband, brother-in-law, and I were able to go venture around the rocks and the beach for more pictures. I am so glad we found them. The price we paid for our perfect wedding was an insane value. My brother in law was our photographer, so we had an insanely affordable wedding. And for how amazing it was, I couldn't be more pleased with the affordable price. Correspondence with them prior to the wedding, as well as after the wedding, were kind and professional, and couldn't be more thankful we found out about Elope to San Diego. We wanted a small, simple, and stress-free, yet beautiful day and that is exactly what we wanted. I will continue to recommend them at every chance I get.

They provided the beautiful linens, did custom flower design based on my vision, and all decor for the ceremony and reception. They negotiated vendor contracts from chairs for the ceremony, to photographer, to DJ and limo service, saving us thousands. She finalized timelines for all of the vendors for me, and did all of the coordinating with them on everything, so this stressed out bride needed to do nothing other than know that it was all taken care of. They worked one on one with the general manager and assistant manager at the reception site regarding set up, timing, tear down, everything. The day of the wedding Shellie, the owner was a phone call away at all times, and she and her assistants were there until the very end. Erin was the assistant at the ceremony, making sure everything ran smoothly, while Shellie was setting up everything for our beautiful reception. During our rehearsal, Shellie and she were both there, and at the ceremony, everything went perfectly under Erin's guidance. When we spent a little extra time on pictures, and Shellie noticed that we were behind schedule, she asked if we wanted her to work out one more hour with the dj for more dancing after dinner. A quick yes from us was all it took and we were on. I can't stress how perfect everything was for our special day. Truly amazing.

We got married on Sept 6, and we couldn't have had a more perfect wedding without Shellie of Instyle. We met Shellie when we visited a potential venue that we were interested in. Shellie and her team were busy at work, preparing for a wedding that day. The first thing I noticed was how nicely they had decorated the venue. As busy as she was, Shellie took some time to speak with us and answer some of our questions. We considered other wedding coordinators, but after our telephone interview with Shellie, we were confident that we she was the right fit for us. We had many ideas that we were able to bounce off of Shellie and get her feedback on, which proved to be very effective in shaping our vision for our big day. Shellie brings years of experience to the table and was able to sort out things that would and would not work for what we had in mind. As everyone knows, there are a lot of moving parts for such an event. Between coordinating with all the vendors, the officiant as well as the venue and keeping us in the loop and on schedule with our tasks, Shellie had it all working like a well oiled machine! Now keep in mind we started working with Shellie a year before our wedding date. From day one, Shellie had us on track and made sure we were locked and loaded on all the key tasks that needed to be done right up to, through and after our big day. From figuring out the decorations that went with our color scheme to working with us on options that took into consideration our budget, Instyle was our single point of contact. With all that being said, no matter how much up front planning there is, things change, stuff happens and adjustments must be made. Shellie and her team not only navigated us through these waters, they shielded us from the typical stress and distractions that come along with it. Trust me, as a bride and groom to be on the day of what is to be a once in a lifetime event, this alone is worth it's weight in gold! On the day of our wedding Shellie and her team were nothing short of amazing. When the bride hits traffic en route, no problem, Shellie stages everything so that as soon as I arrive, what could have easily been a 20 minute delay turns out to only be a 5 minute delay. When we realize that the video we plan to show during the reception is washed out because the sun is brighter than ever at 6:30pm, the Instyle team on the fly rearranges the schedule, coordinates with all the vendors to make it an evening show after dinner without a hitch and all our guests were none the wiser as if it were the original plan! And last but certainly not least, her team was always on point watching us in case we needed something or had a question. From start to finish Shellie and her team went above AND beyond the call of duty. As a result everything came together making it a memorable experience that our guests are still talking about weeks after the event. Now I know there are reviews like this that I've read where it's so over the top that you can't help but to question it's authenticity. Well, we will always be a reference for Instyle, so if you have any doubt about the quality, value or effectiveness of Instyle's services, be sure to have Shellie put you in contact with us and we'd be glad to share our experience with you directly. Just mention the couple who's husband to be suggested streamers for the reception decorations and she'll know exactly who you're asking about ;-) P.S. FYI after we both stopped laughing at him (sorry, "with" him ;-) Shellie converted his ideal into what became the perfect decoration accent to the reception area. All I can say is Whew! Thank goodness for Shellie and her team!

She helped make sense of our tea ceremony that my mom's coordinator never bothered to explain to us. If it wasn't for Thi's ability to keep us calm and informed, I think I would've had a total meltdown out of frustration with the fustercluck that our tea ceremony would've been. We forgot to pick an additional bridal party processional song for our American wedding ceremony, so she picked one out on the fly for us and made sure our DJ had it. When my groom's family got lost and was 30min late, she made sure our bridal party never let us know and that the DJ kept the music going for the guests. I had no idea anything wasn't perfect for the wedding ceremony--fantastic! Finally, she was able to manage the mass of people waiting to take pictures with us at the reception, and work out all our weird seating issues without a hitch (especially considering she only got our list at 4 am in the day of). And, when we forgot pick any music out for the entirety of our reception, she picked everything out and gave it to our DJ. Every song she picked was perfect. Quite honestly, everything Thi touched worked exceedingly well. She's organized, adaptable, kind (but assertive when necessary), and really quite talented at making sure your entire wedding day moves along smoothly.

The first ring we looked at was cute and affordable, he bought it and held on to it for the right time to propose. After some rethinking, I realized I didn't want a ring with white gold and we returned it. The second ring was just something I passed by and thought was nice. I didn't realize my boyfriend had bought it secretly in hopes of proposing. In the mean time, I found Thi and her customized/personalized engagement ring business. She helped me design the PERFECT ring for my style and our price budget. I asked her to contact my boyfriend to handle the financial details. He was gracious enough to follow through and my platinum engagement ring got made! He proposed to me with the other ring while the ring of my dreams was being made. Writing this made me realize I sound like a brat! But keep in mind that the ring was affordable and my FIANCE and I are 110% happy. My fiance and I are so thankful for Thi and her diligence. Without her I would have been stuck with a clunky ring that looked like a class ring with a diamond on top. Words could not express our appreciation. She was very timely and professional. Customized rings that are actually affordable! What more can a girl ask for? Just in case any of the girls out there was curious.
