I went in this shop last year as a bride and originally thougt the service was fantastic. However, I then went in with my two bridesmaids, booked an appointment, but they just left us to our own devices and it was clear they were more interested in Brides than bridesmaids. We purchased the dresses and then went back in for a fitting which again we were just given the dresses and left to our own devices, one dress needed taking in very slightly and both shortened which cost the same price as one of the dresses, absolutely extortianate prices. When we finally went to pick up the dresses they were handed to us unsteamed and in a plastic bag. Not impressed at all with this shop, a number of people I have spoken to have had similar experiences with both dresses and suits, so I wouldnt recommend this to anyone, infact I am at an age where friends are getting married and I sadly have to discourage them from going anywhere near it. What I also find crazy is that they dont give Bridesmaids much attention or care which is mad as one day they may become a bride, so if they have a good experience and feel special, Se Marier may get repeat business. read more

Really happy with the service we received from Se Marier and suprised about the reviews on here. The staff were lovely made you feel at ease and are very flexible. They have a great range of wedding dresses and some from Romantica of Devon which we thought was lovely as most other bridal shops order all from abroad. When you arrive you are given some tokens to place on dresses you want to try on and aren't forced to try on dresses you don't like (which has happened to me in other shops). There is also a seating area for you mum etc and I took my bridesmaids to the shop to show them the dress again and it was nice that they didn't have to be stood around waiting. They are very helpful and I love the dress I brought from them! :) Can't wait to wear it on the big day. read more

Had a great experience trying on lovely gowns and very attentive staff. However I had a boned dress which I was told by Wendy and the two girls that I didn't need a bra as the dress was boned and it would fit better without one. Yes it looked lovely but being a larger busted lady when I sat in the car to go to the church the bones bent which left my boobs oozing over the top of the dress and quite frankly ruined all of my photos. In hindsight I would have worn a bra to keep everything in place. You trust the people you are paying hundreds of pounds to to advice you correctly. Very upset that on the day I should have felt like a princess and to be able to show my photos off with pride now I have to tell the story of why I look far from a princess. read more

Love, love, love this shop and the care and attention they have given me over the past few months. I ordered my dress and 7 pairs of shoes for myself and my bridesmaids and the Mother of the Groom. The service has been wonderful from the start and the girls in the shop (especially Amelia) have always made me feel welcomed and well-looked after. They have opened the shop late so that I could come to an extra appointment after work, allowed me to book appointments at very short notice and are storing my wedding dress until two days before my wedding! I was in the shop 15 mins b4 a young girl even asked if i needed any help when she did i said i wanted a plain simple dress she said not sure you will have that here i felt rubbish any way got my dress now from la bella bridal i felt like i had vip treatment compared this shop!!!!! read more
