The second thing I would like to point out is his professionalism. As a female, it's such a breath of fresh air to have a photographer that's truly respectful and professional. He is not there to be "creepy" or take inappropriate photos. He's there to get the shot you want--and that's exactly what he did. My third favorite thing about Patrick is how came prepared. He arrived on location early. He already had looks/ideas printed out, and they were very easy to follow. He was knowledgeable about posing, and worked GREAT with my husband. I appreciate how he was straight-forward and honest about how certain poses/looks would translate on film. He was also open to poses we wanted to try. Noreen and her team were amazing! This session was for our 3 kids ages 14-17 and we brought our 2…read moredogs. Noreen and her team engaged wonderfully with each of our very different kids and treated our dogs like little princesses! They were careful with the dogs, provided water bowls and a bowl for the food we brought. They were incredibly hospitable to us and fun-loving with our 3 teens. This session was part of their Who AM I Program, focused on increasing confidence and self-esteem by highlighting the kids' special interests, character traits and what makes eqch of them special. It included questionnaires we had sent to teachers, youth pastor and friends which were integrated into a video montage highlighting the "things loved most" or "the funniest thing about" each kiddo. Our family laughed hilariously at several moments throughout the afternoon and she'd a tear or two at several touching moments. My husband was reluctant to spend the amount of money we did on a photo shoot. But this was more than a photo shoot. It truly was/is an investment into my kids. I want eqch of them to look back on this experience, see the statements their friends, teachers, youth pastor (and parents!) made about what makes them amazing...see themselves dressed up, holding beloved pets that have defined their childhood...who won't always be with us...and say some day, "Wow. Remember when we did that photo shoot? That was pretty awesome and we look great, dont we? I loved that dog...remember Dad joking with us during the session? I contacted Enchanted Photography after reading favorable reviews for her equine photography and looking at many of her sample images online. The first thing I deeply appreciated about Marla is that because of an injury with our horse we didn't know how much time we would have with her, and Marla made room in her schedule to photograph my family with our horse on fairly short notice. The second thing I appreciated was the communication from start to finish. We always knew what was going on and had everything in writing. Marla also gave suggestions on what to wear and why and had us tweak our outfits before the shoot. The third thing I appreciated was how professional she was during the shoot, while at the same time personable and thoughtful, and how she worked to capture the essence of the relationship between my daughter and our horse and the dynamic between family members for family photos. It was a hectic day for my family, but Marla somehow helped everything flow smoothly. She was a natural with the horses at the barn and was so sweet to our mare. The fourth thing I appreciated was that she made us go to her studio to view the photos and choose them at the viewing. At first I thought this was an imposition. I was wrong! This is absolutely the best part of the whole process because she helped us narrow down our choices and choose the best of the best (because they're all great!). What a blessing! I am certain I'd still be looking at the pictures and trying to decide which to choose and which to leave behind. The fifth thing I appreciated is that she had samples of everything we could choose from at her studio, so we knew what we would be getting. The sixth thing I appreciated is that the photos we purchased are beyond GORGEOUS. We all love, love, love them! The last thing I appreciated is that there were two images that needed a little touching up after she sent us the finished product and she touched them up and had them back to us lightning fast. We are exceedingly happy with Enchanted Photography and with Marla. Her pricing is indicative of her experience and what she offers as a professional and gifted artist. In all honesty, had I looked at the pricing before the photo shoot, it might have scared me away, and I am SO glad that didn't happen. After going through the process and receiving the finished product, I cannot recommend Marla and Enchanted Photography enough. We absolutely got what we paid for and more, and we hope to have the opportunity to work with her again.
