His honesty was so refreshing compared to the other well known Cosmetic Institute I had already spoken to and one other Private Plastic Surgeon. I was relieved and confident to then go ahead with the surgery. He was just as attentive and reassuring the day of surgery, also using his great sense of humour to help me relax! Another place you don't want to go to, but really should…read more Getting your skin cancer caught early makes it become much less of an issue. And finding out you don't have one is great peace of mind. They don't process your Medicare payment on site, but there's a Medicare office in toombul, plus you can do it yourself online these days. I had something removed, so had some out of pocket expense, but it was still pretty affordable. The doctor was great, and really the only downside was my own nerves. He didn't just slice it off and stitch me up, he used some special internal stitches thing, and I paid next to nothing for what would have cost many hundreds for the same thing from a plastic surgeon. Score! There are a few doctors working here, but it's that popular you'll need to book ahead; unless you get lucky and you get a cancellation (I did!).
