Learning all about different animals and reptiles. The party room was the perfect size for a kid's party. They provided tables, chairs, and tablecloths which was super helpful. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. We got really lucky with having weather nice enough to be outside to see the outdoor farm. They actually said as long as the weather is not unsafe, they continue to provide that part of the party year long. You definitely don't want to miss that part. While we understood that activities were "subject to change," we expected an experience that closely reflected what was advertised. Our daughter was by far the oldest child in her group, and I wish there had been more age-appropriate grouping or activities. She came home each day underwhelmed, which was especially disappointing because she had been counting down the days until camp. The biggest issue was that many of the advertised activities felt much more basic than they appeared. There was far less hands-on interaction with the animals than we expected. Instead of an immersive farm or horse experience, it often felt more like observing, listening, or completing simple crafts. For example, "making parakeet sticks" meant feeding the birds with sticks that were already prepared, and "making a goat piñata" consisted of stuffing a pre-made paper-mâché piñata. She also told us that "learning to milk a cow" involved squeezing a rubber glove attached to a wooden calf with blue-colored liquid inside. While these activities may be enjoyable for younger children, they felt geared toward a much younger age group than our 9-year-old. One thing I did appreciate was the check-in and check-out process. The staff had a clear system that made drop-off and pick-up feel organized and secure. My biggest suggestion would be to make the advertising more representative of what campers actually do. A day-by-day sample itinerary or more photos and videos of children participating in the actual activities would help parents make an informed decision. We chose this camp over others because of the detailed activity descriptions, and the reality simply didn't match the expectations they created.

My son is a great normal quiet kid yet he was bullied there and we had no control over it ... This camp Is a hit or miss. Also, directors use shady tactics of making kids spend pocket money (that they insist kids need to have) on stuff they don't need. Like my son brought home t-shirt and blanket and something else they basically forced him to buy. I tried to return with no luck.

The counselors refused to notify parents that she was really sick. They told her that she was home sick and that is why she wants to call home. My daughter is 14 years old and very independent, Swift Nature camp management refused to contact parents, they did not care. She was really sick and they gave her throat medicine. From our point of view this action was unacceptable. It showed that all they care is business. My daughter suffered so much that she came home crying and very sick.

I don't think it's original to the house since they let you touch stuff which is pretty cool. I feel it gave my young son a different experience than you typically get a historical houses for this reason and because you could walk around by yourself. The animals outside were a huge hit, particularly the chickens and the pigs. Another cool thing is you can buy farm fresh eggs in the gift shop (which we did). We watched the eggs get collected and they were delicious the next morning for breakfast. They also had a variety of meat for sale from the farm, but we didn't try that this time.

We got the package that included the pizza, birthday cake and goodie bags. This package included juice and ice cream, table cloths and even a balloon for each child. My kids loved the play land and the kids seemed happy and busy enough. The person in charge of our party was Jean. Jean was amazing!!!!! She led that party like an expert. After the kids played in the play land Jean took them into another room to play some games using the parachute. They play a game of "popcorn" and they sang a song about farm animals. At the end of all that fun my daughter got to sit in the middle of the parachute and pretend she was on a flying carpet! It was so beautiful and she loved it. After the parachute activities, the kids were led to the bathroom to wash their hands and then back to the party room to have some pizza and juice. After they ate the kids were allowed to play a little bit more in the play land. Finally Jean called them out and had them grab their shoes and head back to the table for cake and ice cream. The cake was beautiful and enough for 20 kids. They even had 5 candles for the cake. When the party was over Jean gave the kids a goodie bag and a balloon as they were leaving! She was amazing. The most stress free party in the history of birthday parties. Worth every penny!

More recently, I was here for my best friends baby shower. Pleasant experience like I always remember. Very big and nice space. Plenty of event rooms with stair and elevator access. Front office is very helpful and there is always someone on staff to assist with anything needed. Event rooms have full kitchens which is great. Tables are provided - another huge plus. Also when you party is over you aren't rushed and kicked out! There is parking in their lot or on the streets. It's also located in a safe area. The community center hosts other events that I will definitely check out as well. Reasonable prices and clean, big space make this an awesome event choice.

I noticed this park when I took a different way to my sitter's house, and decided to check it out yesterday when it was warm-ish. Needless to say we've been a bit stir-crazy staying indoors so much this winter! I really like several things: first, the equipment has some special needs accessibility. You can walk on to the equipment from the sidewalk, since there is a ramp built in! This area has a smaller slide that my toddler could navigate on his own. There is a variety of equipment for older kids to climb, and also several different slides. There is a separate toddler/smaller kid play area with 3 slides (2 tandem) that my little 19 month old could access with some help. Finally, there are 4 swings available: 2 baby buckets, and 2 for bigger kids. The turf is covered in wood chips and surrounded by black (plastic?) beams bolted into the ground. I didn't see a speck of trash anywhere! It's a pretty large area, and my son had lots of room to just run around and expend his energy. I enjoyed the scenic view of the pond, which is surrounded by a crushed limestone trail. Definitely a fan! Too bad we don't live right down the street. Luckily my sitter does, so we'll be using this park at least when I pick up the kids!

Im not sure why this park isn't busier. It's always dead whenever we visit! It's clean and well maintained. The pond is super fun and we enjoy walking around the gravel path. Every time we come here we spot some kind of active wildlife. The pond also has HUGE carp. I'm not sure if fishing is allowed but if it is, This would be an awesome place to fish. The carp are always active and will jump up out of the water and scare you ;) ducks, turtles, snakes, are just of the few creatures we have run into here. Visit when the weather is nice and you'll see a lot of the local wildlife. There are a few picnic tables and benches scattered all around the property if you're looking for somewhere to play and eat outdoors! We like it here!
