But more important, really welcoming owners who great you with tea and coffee, maps of the environment with lots of walks and the best spots for watching puffins and such already pointed out (literally, with big arrows) for you. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts in great company with the yogurt with fresh fruits and 'Christmas slices'. Will definitely stay there again!

The rooms and bathrooms have been renovated and are really nice, mattresses are comfortable, the whole house is kept very clean. The ceilings are quite low on the edges so you have to watch your head. There's a pretty nice common area with couches, a TV and some games as well as tea and coffee. A great asset is the view, it's right on the lake and there are some seats and tables outside to enjoy your surroundings and the amazing sunsets. Google maps was not able to correctly find this place but gets you close enough - then just look for the Birches sign on the lake side of the road.
