They always give the best deal and I never feel pressured or uncomfortable. Most of my dealings were with Philip Lee and his Staff. What a bunch of great guys! Honest, respectful, courteous, gentleman. They are all very knowledgeable of all the vehicles they sell. All my family and friends always thank me for referring them to Edward Lee's Japanese Auto Centre. The friendly professional staff always leaves a great impression on everyone. And they always gets the deal done. I have never walked out of there without the best deal on a car. What's better than dealing with honest people with that much integrity by letting them take care of your car buying process. I could of never purchased this car or any other Nissan for the deal Edward Lee's gave me. I bought a BMW from this dealership in early February with a yellow engine warning light on. I was…read moretold it only requires a software upgrade, and the car was regularly serviced. They let me wait nearly a month to have it looked at by BMW, with it finally going in on 1 March, after taking possession on 6 February. The car disappeared for a week with no contact on what was happening. I left 3 messages to various managers that never returned calls. Finally I found out through several mails the car needed "oxygen sensor, oil filter gasket, oil cooler seals, intake manifold, fan belt and radiator top hose." It was going to cost them by BMW AUD$3000 to fix. Instead of telling me what was happening to my vehicle they were out fishing for cheaper quotes to do the work. I'm still struggling to have management call me back to discuss the vehicles situation. They told me some repairer in Clovelly was doing the work, but when I called them they could not even locate my car. I fear that this company even though they are saying they are using genuine BMW parts may not be, and that they are not fixing the full scope of problems. They seem to be very cost sensitive, not willing without pushing to disclose all relevant details of my vehicle, have extremely poor customer communication skills, and because of all this come across somewhat dodgy. I would treat this Business with extreme caution. When I finally get my car back I will be taking it in for a independent mechanical inspection by the "real" BMW service centre.

The eccelctic, everchanging range of beautiful, amazing and ultra-rare pre-2000s cars is second to none--literally. You only have to go to their website to see what I mean. They have cars from every category, from Renault Spiders to Piaggio Apes, Porsche 356s to Lancia Delta Integrales, the list goes on... The staff are friendly and welcoming too. They just state keys when they should clearly state in the contract 2 keys/key fobs. Of course with a remote it acts as a key but the manual key therein also acts as a key so they cover themselves. The drive up the ramp to the roof for the service drop off is a bit disconcerting and steep the first time. Staff were friendly and efficient. When they heard it was just the one-month inspection they gave me the option of taking the shuttle to Artarmon train station and coming back later; or, if I wanted to wait the hour it would take, they said they'd put me in first and let me go without having to come back. Great! They did indeed find a loose fitting on the inspection, which they tightened up. I like that they gave me schedule options and adjusted their work schedule to make that work.

How Private Fleet works is: 1. You select the exact type of…read morevehicle and contact Private Fleet (PF). If you have a trade-in you fill in PF's spreadsheet. 2. PF works out a changeover price based on their negotiations with dealers and your trade-in description. 3. When you are happy with the price you verbally accept and pay $1500 deposit by credit card over the phone. 4. Some time later (maybe half a day) you receive a Purchase Agreement with PF's Terms and Conditions. The Purchase Agreement states that your telephone call constitutes a legally binding agreement (even though you don't have the documentation). Of course that is not entirely true because the terms of the contract are not provided at the time of the telephone call. My Experience: As I was not happy with the Purchase Agreement (due to the actual trade-in valuation not being specified and my concern that the trade-in valuation may be varied unilaterally by the Vendor and the Purchaser has no recourse) I have advised that I cancel the Agreement and I have requested return of the deposit. PF has gone totally silent, have not returned calls or answered emails. If they do not return the deposit in a reasonable time I will lodge a complaint to Fair Trading NSW. Watch this space.
