Hidden away down a narrow lane out from Callandar, the Scottish Real Ale Shop is in a white garage next to the Laid Inn. It's was only open in the afternoons when I visited, but when you step inside the uninspiring building, you enter a small aladdin's cave of bottled beer. All Scottish, all at reasonable prices (£2 a bottle or so) and with a very knowledgable proprietor who is happy to recommend beers based on your preferred styles.
