This is a family-run owl centre with europe's largest collection of owls, and it certainly is a large collection. I recently had one of my friends visit from the US and decided to bring her and her boyfriend to the centre along with my husband and 4 year-old son. While my son did get alittle bored looking at owl after owl, there are things for children to do as well including a large owl-slide and "professor hoot's owl school" which teaches kids more about owls. The flying displays are amazing, and worth more than one look during your visit since they change the owls they use for each display. So, for example, the owls from the 11:30am display will be different from the ones at the 3:30pm display. After the displays, you can have your picture taken holding the owls, which is also nice, and was the highlight of the day for my 4 year-old. read more
