I can't say it any better than the last post as we had the EXACT SAME experience including the rude ladies excuse of "closiing 1/2 of the store because of crowds".... So when we started out - she remarked that we "smelled like breakfast" and maybe we should "spend at least a half hour outside airing out!" WTF! We had shopped the day before and spent hundreds of dollars. While shopping today we stopped at the Sunset Grill for brunch. Then went to this store. Avoid this store at all costs! BIG mistake for them, HUGE. I have lots of friends who visit there from NY. Stay away. They STINK!"

They carried almost all of the merchandise I was looking for for my (hard-to-find gifts for) daughter. Staff (or owner) were friendly and helpful. It can get busy (and crowded) inside so be mindful and tread lightly. There are enough items on the front porch to browse through that it took me at least 20 mins to check them out even before entering the store, which took me even longer inside. Just so much to see. I preface this review by saying that I am a HUMONGOUS Christmas junkie, and I even used to have 7 - yes, 7 - indoor Christmas trees when I had my townhome in the States (and I'm not even going to tell you how decked out my house exterior was!). Suffice it to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas and all things Christmas. So it goes without question that I made a beeline for this store when I saw it's jolly signage and window from the street. The store is enormous inside, and it's as bedecked and bejeweled as any Christmas store I've seen. The selection of ornaments is huge, and they are organized by theme (nice!). And there's not just ornaments; there are garlands and trees and lights and holiday games and puzzles. Imagine anything holiday-related and it's probably here. I loved the lights and the music and being surrounded by that happy, holiday environment. But here's the deal: I looked for a specific dog breed in their dog ornament area and the selection of breeds was really small. Surprising, but true. Many mainstay breeds weren't there. The selection was surprisingly small. So then I went to check out the Niagara-on-the-Lake ornaments, and hopefully find one for my "travel" tree, and perhaps a Toronto one, too. They only had a few NOTL ornaments and they were all brass, save for one painted orb/ball ornament that didn't look like the town at all to me. I wasn't keen on any of these local ornaments (and there were none of Toronto). Again, I was surprised. And I left empty-handed (which has never happened to me in any Christmas store, ever). I have to also note how the prices here, IMO, are very high for the quality of ornaments I looked at. I was surprised at the mark-up. Lastly, I was surprised how unhelpful the employees were, when I asked the girls at the cash where the local NOTL ornaments were located. They simply said "in the back" and vaguely gestured behind them. (This store is humongous, with multiple rooms, so saying something is "in the back" isn't really helpful AT ALL). In most other shops, someone would have walked with me to the appropriate area or aisle to show me where the item in question is. It was if they didn't really care if I found the items or not. (I did find them on my own but it took quite a while!).
