My wife and I recently just finished our refinance with Steve and had a great experience. Although…read moreslowed by COVID, Steve and his team of mortgage professionals answered ALL of our questions and explained what to expect along the way. When the rates are as low as they are, we couldn't help but jump at the opportunity to take advantage. We knew going in that during this COVID crisis it may be challenging but Steve and his team were there for us. We have since referred a few of our close friends and neighbors to Steve and they are jumping on the refinance wagon as well! Keep up the good work Steve! If you're located in the Lehigh County area and looking to refinance your home or property, do not hesitate to give Steve a call.

I was put in contact with Steve for financing as a first time home buyer. At first my impression of…read morehim was good and informative. However that quickly changed. When things began rolling with finding homes, and needing information from him regarding cost sheets and communication with my real estate agent, he was MIA, didn't answer calls, didn't respond in a timely manner. Then when he did respond, he was very short, without taking time to answer questions or give all the information that was necessary. Not very good, especially when many things with purchasing a home is already stressful and requires timely responses for deadlines. Needless to say, I did NOT move forward with him, I switched Lenders, which was a great choice!

I recently closed on my first commercial real estate deal. I worked with both Joel and Kelly and…read morehighly recommend both. I met Joel (the broker) when I was doing initial market research, and had no intentions of buying right then. Joel spent hours with me, showing me properties, giving me his opinions, and answering my questions. When I was ready to seriously look for a property to purchas months later, I worked directly with Kelly, the agent who handles deals in the Allentown area. She is very responsive, responsible, prompt and hard-working. This was actually her first commercial real estate deal also, but she was able to apply her expertise in the area, with some guidance from Joel, seamlessly. We had many unexpected bumps in the road (related to the property and to the seller), but she was able to guide me through them all and ultimately close the deal. This included working through the winter holiday period when she was otherwise on vacation! The only issue I had with her was a communication lapse regarding the timing of the home inspection, but she responded very well to feedback and was able to work with us to move forward. I therefore count that as something positive because you can't ever expect perfection from a person or situation, but it is very important to work with someone who can adjust to feedback, rectify the situation and move forward, and that's exactly who Kelly is. A couple other bonuses of this brokerage: - They use electronic signatures. In the 21st century, I don't believe you should work with anyone who can't work electronically. - The other professionals in their network with whom I have worked so far are also excellent. Aside from a realtor, you may also need other professional services, and it's always nice to have someone introduce you to people who are good at what they do.

We financed a new construction home through this branch and were highly engaged borrowers…read morethroughout the entire process, asking detailed questions and following up at every stage. Within our float-down window, one team member sent us written rate options with no deadline and explicit language that waiting was equally valid. The very next day we were actively emailing a different member of the same team, confirmed they needed nothing from us, and were never told these two people were managing separate parts of our file. Over the following weeks we had active contact with three team members including the branch manager directly. One team member sent a written apology mid-process for missing our emails entirely. While our questions went unanswered, the branch manager sent an automated marketing email with the subject line "You've Got a Team Behind You" -- a mass mailing, not a personal check-in. We discovered five days before settlement that our disclosures still showed our original locked rate with no prior warning. The rate was not corrected until three days before closing and only after we forced the issue. When we raised this, the branch manager's written response was that it is "very tricky to try and read everyone's mind." On closing day, his only acknowledgment was that he was "sorry about any confusion." The rate available to us in writing would have saved over $15,000 over the life of the loan. No genuine apology was ever offered and no responsibility was acknowledged. After going through this experience we also noted that other reviewers have described similar issues with this loan officer, including difficulty getting responses and last-minute communication failures. This does not appear to be an isolated incident. If you are a detail-oriented borrower who expects your loan team to actively manage open decisions on your file, be aware of how this branch operates.
