Now our second child is thriving there as well, after his older brother has moved on to elementary school. From very early on, both kids were happy, sociable, and came home with all sorts of knowledge and skills they'd learned there--the actual learning is really impressive. This was our 3rd daycare in the area, after the first one shut down and the second one wasn't a good fit for this particular kid. We were frankly kind of desperate, and totally turned off by the corporate cartoon theme which, on the surface, was not at all the vibe we'd been looking for. But wow, did we learn our lesson. Daycare centers are run by real people, after all, and these people are wonderful. The building is safe, clean, bright, and full of resources while absolutely spacious and uncluttered. It's comforting, stimulating, and the walls are covered in a constantly changing array of children's projects at all levels. This is not a place where you park your kid and they babysit them--it's a genuine school, with the parent-facing part of it as easy as if it were "just a daycare." I would recommend this place to everyone I know--if they didn't already send their kids there! So many families that we know from TLE are also involved in other parts of our family's life now, and many that we met elsewhere have discovered TLE Montgomery on their own. In a way, it's a major nerve center of our sense of community in Montgomery at this early stage in our children's lives.

Things that defines my experience with TLE are confidence, security, warmth, love and affection.

I am the type of parent who worries constantly; however, I never seem to worry when he is at school. I know that he is in great hands! You really become part of a family when you send your child there. The directors are amazing and the teachers are top-notch. I am also very impressed with their COVID protocols and their ability to get two-year-olds to wear masks most of the day :-) To add to this- recently, my son was ill and had a brief hospital stay (he's completely fine now - just a little bit of a scare!) and I was overwhelmed with how supportive the ECC community was during that time. The other parents in the room came together to give us a gift card to a local restaurant, the teachers sent home videos of the other kids telling my son how much they missed him/to feel better, and they also sent home a sweet art project the teachers/class created and gift for him. It truly helped us get through a stressful time. You will not regret sending your child here. Happy to talk to anyone considering sending their child there!

Both of our daughters have been enrolled in Childtime Flemington since they were infants. The…read morestaff has been wonderful, even throughout the Covid shut down. They took initiative to make videos and zoom calls to read stories with the kids throughout the shut down and even made "back to school" videos to acclimate the little ones to teachers who would be wearing masks. In school, they have done so many activities and encourage family interactions. They host Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad for mothers/father's day; hosted Pre K graduations after hours to celebrate all the graduates; encourage Trunk or Treats (now decorated tables in the yard instead of cars which makes more sense for safety) for Halloween; make special Christmas crafts for purchase to use as gifts. The list goes on. The curriculum is very good. My older daughter was over prepared for kindergarten. She was taught all Kindergarten basics in the Pre K class and did very well academically (she still does well). My preschooler only left to go to the district free preschool, otherwise we would still be there. She too was well educated, taught to write her name at 3 as well as spell her name. She can even spell her friends names (both first and last!) The cost is consistent with all the other private preschools in the area except that the camera access is included with tuition. I know other friends that pay extra fees for the camera/app access. The app was accurate and consistently used which allowed open communication between staff and families. I would definitely recommend Childtime Flemington to any families looking for a private daycare/preschool!
