I give them 2 stars just because they are nice to you (1.5 was not an option)…read more You will find delaying seems to be a tactic for them helping you to realize they will not be paying out for damages. In my case the iPhone pics I provided in which one pic showing both cars in the accident was deemed by them to be my fault since 1.) I was driving the car at the time of the accident. And so this is the interesting part... the pic clearly shows no one is behind the wheel of my car. 2.) Is my fault since the same pic shows brake lights are on for my car and so again the car is not parked and I am behind the wheel holding down the brake. Defer back to #1 and then become vary wary of Meemic when you hear that, and again it can clearly be seen, that the flash from my iPhone is causing my tail light in the foreground to look lit up brightly. And so this is again the interesting part... the pic also shows the other car's tail light in the back ground having the same identical camera flash brightness. However, the other person is in this same pic and I am taking the pic. So, are we also both simultaneously in our cars holding down the brakes while participating in the picture taking? My 8th grader figured it out and I know your 8th grader could, as well. And yet... Meemic's decision was to reject my claim after many many weeks of so called review and consulting by other agent professionals at Meemic. Of, course as you would have guessed... the other pics I took clearly show my car parked and damaged by the other car and Meemic does not question them. But yet, rejects the claim based on one pic they seemly can stretch for the truth. I did look into litigation from a lawyer service my employer provides but, while the lawyer's consultation was included, to litigate would cost more than the damages. And... this is the part that should wrench your stomach... the provided estimate for repairs was only $800.00. Image what Meemic will do for higher claim amounts???? Run now... even before you talk to them. Remember, I did give them 2 stars because they actually do talk nice and act sympathetic as if they are your own brother or sister.

Avoid at all costs, inspector takes weeks to come out to appraise your car after an accident caused…read moreby another driver. They only cover part of the cost of a rental, insist you go to a body shop that takes over a MONTH to fix your vehicle. Then the body shop they chose insists they want more than the appraiser carved out, Meemic refuses to pay, body shop keeps your car hostage and Meemic tells you they're going to stop covering costs for a rental. We have been in a rental for over FIVE weeks due to them dragging their feet. On top of this we pay more than everyone we know for dirt service, we couldn't even get a hold of our agent Cathy cannon for days without contacting her supervisor. Magically when we would contact supervisor she would reach out immediately claiming to never have received calls, voicemails or emails despite us calling the same office number to get ahold of her supervisor... This happened at Least three or four times. This is how they treat you when you've been in an accident involving multiple cars with the one car at fault being a likely DUI can't imagine how they treat others who's fault isn't as blatant or straight forward. Ridiculous service, going somewhere else and never looking back. Paying more than friends pay at national chains for straight forward, no BS service with better coverage.
