Really, really disappointing experience with this team…read more I have known many PFR brokers over the years and I do believe that the organization is ethical. That said... my recent experience with the Pulos team was anything but - "steering the deal" to achieve dual brokerage fees is not in the best interest of your business and is not in the ethic guidelines of the organization. There are many residential brokers who practice the right way - transparent, in the best interest of the client, and communicative. This team is anything but

I rented a property through Patterson Price Real Estate, owned by J Todd Ladutko, for two years,…read moreafter renting a sublet from him for 3 months. Both times he was an outstanding landlord. He is a rather busy person but when the chips are down, he fixes stuff quickly if it is urgent. Examples: when I first moved into the sublet, I was concerned that the lock was not secure--I was able to jimmy it with a credit card. When I called, the locksmith arrived first thing the next morning to install a new lock. Response time was slower on non-urgent matters but the few times something went really wrong (a tree fell on the apartment once, another time there was a leak during a rainstorm) the response was fast and thorough. He has an on-call maintenance team, who are friendly and sometimes a bit out of it or scatterbrained, but in the end, come through on the job. Most importantly though, both of the properties I lived in were well-maintained and did not tend to require much maintenance at all. They had clean kitchens, new or newish appliances in very good shape. The homes were not as well insulated as they could be, but were better than average for buildings in the area, and but heating costs were reasonable for the area and units I rented. The units were all rather cheaply-built buildings but having been in similar ones, I can say the ones he owned and maintained tended to be in better shape than similar units owned by other landlords; he has upgraded and improved them considerably from their original state! Also, both properties had yards and gardens and I was allowed to plant my own garden, which was really great, something not all landlords allow but that was a huge plus for me too. The prices on the units were also reasonable, a notch lower than some other properties that I saw in the area. And he was prompt at returning the security deposit and returned it in full (I did leave the unit in good condition, as I always do). I would really recommend renting from J Todd Ladutko through Patterson Price Real Estate, if you have the opportunity and see a property you like. My experience was very good. I would gladly rent from him again.

Dawn Wilson has my absolutely strongest recommendation. I cannot think of any realtor I have…read moreencountered or heard of whom I would choose over her. She helped my elderly father sell the family home during an already difficult time that was further complicated by some unforeseeable issues that arose along the way. Not only did Dawn secure a successful sale at a price that met my father's expectations, she also provided extraordinary personal support that went far beyond her typical responsibilities as a realtor. Dawn's expertise, attention to detail, good nature, and boundless energy got us through the challenges we faced. From the moment we first met Dawn all the way through to (and beyond) closing, Dawn was transparent, informative, and reliable. Dawn took the time to understand my father's situation, patiently and clearly explained things to him, worked with his time-frame, frequently checked in with him about how things were progressing, and showed sincere concern for how he was holding up through everything. She also went above-and-beyond the call of duty in cheerfully putting up with my father's "curmudgeonly charm." I live 3000 miles away and can visit my dad at most only a few days each month, so it was very reassuring to know that he was working with someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, hard-working, and excellent at what she does. Every time I would talk to Dawn or hear from my dad about how things were going, I came away with the sense that Dawn was looking out for him as if he were part of her family. When things started to look like they might unravel at the end - to be clear, through no fault at all of Dawn's - she remained calm and made sure my father understood what was going on and what to expect. She went to incredible lengths to ensure that my dad's interests were protected, that the sale stayed on track, and that all the extra things that had to be done were properly taken care of. Dawn even took the time to go with my father to state offices to help him file paperwork that was needed for his situation. It would have been very easy for Dawn to see that as not her responsibility and to leave it to my dad to figure out and handle on his own. However, that isn't the kind of person Dawn is. Dawn did a number of other things that clearly demonstrated her integrity, warmth, and decency. Dawn was the perfect choice for us and I am forever grateful for all the time and effort she put into guiding my father through this process. If I ever end up buying a home in an area she covers, I am absolutely certain Dawn will be my realtor. I hold her in the highest regard as both a realtor and a person.
