My daughter's anxiety can wax and wane so it is very helpful that Brian gives her homework assignments to stay on top of everything. He even helped us with finding a psychiatrist. I had such a sad and awful experience. I can't remember 80% of my time in Abington Hospital. I had…read moreacute alcohol poisoning, a raging sinus infection and extremely low sodium. I was very sick with all three, clearly, medical issues. I spent a few days in Abington and then was shipped to a filthy and inhumane pyshiatric facility. I still had low sodium, an untreated sinus infection and withdrawal symptoms. I was heavily drugged by the hospital so I couldn't think clearly. I was really scared. I should have been kept in the hospital until I got well instead of what actually happened. It took me days to get an antibiotic in that awful facility. As soon as I was clear enough to realize my fate, I started working really hard to get myself out of there. I definitely did not belong in a psych facility for medical issues! What a nightmare. The staff at Abington Hospital lacks education and still has a draconian belief that alcoholism is behavioral and anything medical that is wrong with the patient must be behavioral too. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I went through. It was so wrong. Shame on you Abington Hospital.

I thought it has be resolved, however fast forward 2 years later they send me a bill. their billing is clearly offshore and they are incapable of resolving anything just opening tickets. that do nothing. you can't reach an office person to speak to and do I expect 2 years later for anyone to have this info no. it's insurance fraud and billing fraud. it's unacceptable and they do nothing care about their clients mental health at all.

I was a day away from being completely out of meds. I must have called five times. They finally called them in with no follow up for me. Three months with no contact from my doc. When they do decide to answer the phone, which is rare, they seem like you caught them at a bad time or something. Last straw... no tele call for my scheduled appt for today.
