if I could give a negative review I would. I started therapy in 02/2024 their office personnel thought they accepted my insurance and after 6 visits it was determined it was their error and would put my balance to 0 due to their error and I was put on private which I fully oblige and paid in full. later in 2024 I get a bill I owe $1100 as they backed billed my insurance 10 months later and felt I needed to pay what they had put to 0. I thought it has be resolved, however fast forward 2 years later they send me a bill. their billing is clearly offshore and they are incapable of resolving anything just opening tickets. that do nothing. you can't reach an office person to speak to and do I expect 2 years later for anyone to have this info no. it's insurance fraud and billing fraud. it's unacceptable and they do nothing care about their clients mental health at all. read more

I have not been a patient of this practice since the end of March 2024 (which is AFTER) they merged with (sold their business to) Springfield Psychiatric Services. Since leaving the practice, I continue to receive emails telling me to go paperless. I have called multiple times trying to reach a human to have them remove me from the list. However, it still continues. On, October 25th I saw a representative at the HOWL_Ween Event in Upper Gwynedd who took my name and number and said they would have someone take care of it and deactivate my account. Ironically, on October 29th., my EOB (Explanation of Benefits) showed 4 recent submission claims for January 23, 2024, January 30, 2024, March 12th and March 26th. Now they are saying those dates had been placed on a hold until they verified my counselors credentials for in-network and that prior payments for their dates were applied to my February 2024 appointments and that it too them until October 29th of THIS YEAR (2025) to verify his credentials, but not other dates were placed on hold either. In addition, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, after about a 5 minute hold, I was told that she was in a meeting but he emailed her the information and I would hear back from her in the same day, yet he could not provide me his supervisor's name. J Snyder was a great, personal practice when I first joined them, however, I have had nothing but issues with their front desk staff and billing staff from the moment they merged with Springfield. The only positive thing is that I found a great therapist well before they merged and thankfully have been able to stay his client. Finally, if you do not want a billing headache or to deal with rude front desk staff (an entire other story from early 2024), stay away from them. read more

Beware, they have fraudulent billing practices. I was overcharged by $600 for telemedicine a year ago. Since I brought it to their attention, I've gotten nothing but the runaround and unreturned phone calls. Until I recently stopped using them, I was asked to pay for each appointment, even though I have no copay for telemedicine. read more

regarding Frank Yaeher : if you're looking for a therapist who prioritizes their own life story over your concerns, manipulates situations, and engages in clear conflicts of interest, then Frank is your guy. What started as a seemingly professional approach quickly unraveled into something completely inappropriate. Rather than focusing on therapy, Frank would often turn sessions into a personal brag-fest, showing photo albums of his world travels, talking about past relationships, and even sharing intimate details about his personal life that had no relevance to my sessions. When my partner and I were making progress, instead of supporting that, Frank inserted false narratives--misrepresenting conversations and creating unnecessary doubt. His behavior went far beyond unprofessionalism; it was manipulative and deceptive. He blurred ethical lines, making us question his true intentions. A therapist is meant to help clients, not play psychological games or make themselves the center of attention. Frank clearly has unresolved personal issues that he should work through before attempting to guide others. If you're seeking genuine therapy, look elsewhere. read more

I absolutely would recommend this practice to anyone. I have been a client for the last 4 years. I have never had a poor experience with any of the therapist. They helped me see through many things and guided me into a better version of myself. Stephanie Fudge, Caroline Welty, Stephanie K. are all truly amazing people. I am fortunate to have found this place. Each one of of them is relatable, they emphasize with you and understand your struggles, as they have experienced it too. I inquired about therapy in January and started in February after they confirmed they accept my insurance. I had about weeks of therapy when I was advised oops the office made a mistake they dont accept my insurance. So they TOLD ME they would put my balance to 0 and going forward I can pay the private pay rate. I agreed. I continued my therapy on private pay to August, when I started getting bills for the 5 weeks when I started and they started to bill my insurance and sending me bills for $515 because my insurance didn't pay. I called to resolve this and they fixed the balance to 0 again. I stopped care at this point because of the stress their billing department caused me. I had to stop with a therapist I really loved, she was amazing. It is now December, and I get a bill for $2, 600 for YET again the 5 weeks they said they were NOT billing me for. I called the billing office again, they don't comprehend the issues they can't give you to anyone helpful... They raise a ticket and I should get something in 5-7 business days. HOwever, they continue to email and text me I need to pay the $2600 bill. Worst office and billing issues I have ever dealt with. My Therapist she was amazing and I hope maybe she changes offices and I can use her again. Disappointing is an understatement! read more

Extremely unprofessional. If I could give negative stars, I would. I'm not the type to post a negative review, but the treatment my loved one received here was outrageous. We asked numerous times to be billed after each session to avoid receiving a large lump sum bill at some point. We requested this after each session, with no response. Then we receive a lump sum bill all at once, and are told we're not allowed to schedule an appointment until the sum is paid. So we took a break from therapy, and saved to pay the bill. Once we paid and called to schedule a new appointment, they refused schedule a new appointment! We were immediately sent discharge paperwork saying my loved one "isn't the right fit for the practice". They bait and switched us! Unbelievable! We confronted them about it, and they apologized for the "miscommunication". They refunded the sum, and then a few days later they charged another unexplained $180 to my credit card without authorization, receipts, or explanation. I have no idea what this charge is for, and getting receipts, invoices, or paperwork from this practice is impossible. Mind you, all of this happened about a week before Christmas. Happy holidays, right? I would NEVER recommend this practice to anyone looking for professional mental health services, or a caring compassionate staff. read more

Sorry this will be a long one. I have been with this practice for more than 4 years. I came here after my first psychiatrist did not offer therapy. He diagnosed me with major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder and PTSD. Now at JSnyder, the psychiatrist diagnosed me with bipolar1 after meeting me for 15 minutes. I was shocked! I have never experienced a manic episode before. I accepted the diagnosis cause he was a professional and I was in dire need of help for my extreme depression at the moment. But I always was skeptical of this at the back of my mind. After awhile I was pushed off to a nurse practitioner bc he was promoted to Medical Director or something. After years of being on multiple antipsychotics, antidepressants, mood stabilizers and sleep aids I've had enough cause nothing was working. Everytime I told them I feel depressed they would change the meds or the dosage. I was turning into a zombie not doing anything but sitting on my kitchen stool all day. After asking everyone in my life if they ever saw me in a manic state and everyone said "absolutely not". I finally told the nurse practitioner that I disagreed with their diagnosis and wanted to get off the antipsychotic and mood stabilizer. I asked her what a manic state was and she said insomnia, lack of appetite and racing thoughts. Is lack of appetite even a symptom? This could be symptoms of multiple ailments, such as perimenopause I was going through for years. She told me the doctor who diagnosed me was highly regarded and never wrong of his assessments. She did help me wean off the meds however. Now, what I found to be highly disappointing is that they never scheduled a longer appointment with me ( usually it was 15 to 20 minutes) to discuss and reassess my diagnosis or even have a conversation of why I felt this way. They basically dropped me as a patient and said good luck. Now my new psychiatrist met with me for 2 hours to listen to my life story and disagree with the bipolar1 diagnosis. He agrees with my first doctor. He was surprised at the amount of medications I've been on. It's literally 3 pages long and that's only for the past 3 years. Not sure if he will be the one yet. I was in a rush to find a new psychiatrist so I can keep getting the antidepressant I need. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my experience with the therapist David was very good. He has helped me in many ways. read more

I hate to say this but people are better off with no help than going here for help. What a bullshit practice. First off they apparently only have one person in charge of communication with clients/patients and 'Lucy' is not good at her job or getting back to people in a timely manner. Lucy also let me know that the doctors do not use the online portal that the patients are expected to use (upload documents, pay fees or check for upcoming appts). I never even saw a Doctor with this practice but that didn't stop them from charging me. Guess they make the clients/patients for shits and giggles. On top of the bogus charge, I had asked for copies of previous conversations for my records but surprise surprise! Did not receive a single piece of information until I got an email saying I would be charged. Honestly I have not encountered a more unprofessional "doctors office" until now and wish with all my heart that I had read these reviews beforehand. Please dont try this practice, you'll be left with more headaches and problems than you started off with. read more

I initially found this practice when I was looking for a therapist for teletherapy, and I will say that my therapist for individual therapy was awesome. She has since left the practice, and I have been stuck with several prescribers who are absolutely atrocious. They leave you hanging they are passive aggressive. They don't get back to you they give you medication where you need a refill and you are left. Wondering if you were even able to get a refill because they disappear off the face of the Earth, and then you are left dealing with the lady in the office who has no idea what's going on. I have gone through several of the prescriber's now and they all seem to have the same issues. One of them even got so angry that she started messaging me that I had to give her all of the correspondence that I had emailed her that she failed to reply to. Unbelievable and that's not my job to do that. I am trying to work on myself through therapy and medication, and if they cannot prescribe medication, and do so in a timely manner and a conscious manner than they should not be practicing. I should not have to beg and plead with people there, and threaten to go up the chain in order to receive a refill for a medication that you cannot just stop taking. I highly recommend and I mean highly recommend looking elsewhere. It's really unacceptable. read more

The worst I have ever experienced! I don't usually post reviews but I wanted to make sure other people saw this, so as not to have the awful experience I did. Nothing is consistent with this practice; fees, hours, procedures, you name it. I've been to other places where there's an initial interview, no problem. But their "procedure" is so odd. It's hard enough to make an appointment with someone but they make you feel like you should feel honored and privileged to even be acknowledged by them. And forget about getting a prescription from a doc. He's never there and never answers your calls. I hope this helps people look elsewhere and find the quality care they obviously won't get there. read more

I don't always write reviews, but I feel inclined to say that meeting with Stephanie Fudge with J Snyder Therapeutic Services has been the best decision I have made to improve myself as an adult. She is welcoming, funny, relatable, and has an authentically "human" approach to therapy. I always feel like my voice is being heard and that my thoughts and opinions matter. Stephanie is genuine and truly cares about helping people reach goals that may otherwise seem unobtainable by providing different tactics and perspectives. She motivates me to continuing improving myself without making me feel overwhelmed in the process. This is not my first time in therapy, but it is by far the most comprehensive and valuable experience I have had to date. If you're like me and you have always heard other people saying they love their therapists but have never quite found the right person for you yet that you can open up to fully, know that Stephanie has become that person for me. If you are reading this and are looking to speak with someone that makes you feel valued, who you can be your true self around without the fear of judgement, who makes you feel like you are speaking with a friend, then Stephanie is that person! What an awful experience I had at this practice. I had no issues with their Therapist KayLee Taylor. She was an amazing therapist. Then I had to change therapist due to a change in my schedule and I was stuck with Roxanne Popple. For someone having a psychology degree, she sure does know absolutely nothing. She doesn't care about her patients. She doesn't have their best interest at heart. It seems she only cares about her upcoming wedding. It took me writing a cold hearted email to her for her to pick up the phone and start calling me instead of e-mailing during a crisis. She didn't push me to get better. She never even tried. She was more of an acquaintance just sitting there listening to me emotionally vomit my feelings. She didn't care enough to help me get through a rough phase in my life. She never read my file before I was transferred to her so starting from scratch was really frustrating and stressful. I was forced with the practice after doing inpatient to do a partial program and an IOP program. Roxanne and her supervisor Alissa both told me that is how the practice ran, but when I asked for the terms and conditions on this and what I signed for to agree to these rules, they both blew me off multiple times. So I went into my portal and there was nothing in there that I signed. It was disappointing to be blown off by what was suppose to be a professional therapy office. After doing as required by their office, I was four sessions in with my individual therapist at the program and she told me exactly what she thought was wrong with me and what I've been experiencing. This therapist didn't even have a psychology degree and it only took her four sessions to figure it out. When you actually take the time to read someone's file, it makes all the difference. Dan was my therapist. Even though it was my decision to go, I did spend time in the beginning putting a wall up and trying to find fault with Dan and the process. I eventually realized that Dan was "showing up" for me so maybe I should actually put some effort into helping myself too and "show up" too. I do feel like i have met my goals for the most part. Deirdre Barthle has been my therapist for almost two years. I feel very fortunate to have found her. Deirdre helped me through a particularly difficult period in my life, introduced me to ACT therapy, and gave me the tools I needed to move forward in a positive and productive fashion. As part of my inward journey, I learned how to better accept and understand my own emotions, as well as how to honestly express my needs and set healthy boundaries in my personal relationships.
