We gathered with the other guests, warming up in the office before heading out. For us humans, the weather was a bit much, but the horses absolutely loved it. One thing that really impressed me was how interactive the experience was. We weren't limited to standing behind a fence--we were able to feed the horses carrots and admire them up close. It made the visit feel personal and unforgettable. About halfway through, we stopped in the barn to watch a short film about the farm's history and mission--an informative (and very welcome!) break from the snow. Afterward, we ventured back out to meet the remaining horses. Despite the chilly weather, we had a wonderful time. If you love animals or just want a unique, heartfelt experience, this tour is absolutely worth it.

Our puppy wasn't neutered like it said he was online, but he's too young to be anyway. Overall, our first rescue experience was easy and pretty stress free. Our puppy is a handsome boy and I am so excited about the future with him!

Obviously we didnt adopt the dog in fear of the adopted dog spreading the tape worm and fleas to my other dogs. The foster mom was sweet and had the best intentions, but it sounds like this place is severly underfunded.... The woman that runs the place told me they didnt have the $10 for 40 of the dogs to eliminate the tape worms...

My favorite part is the bakery cookies for the pups, I love picking out cute treats for special occasions and just because. I am also a fan of their self service dog washing stations. They have been a life saver after muddy hikes. The wash stations are fully stocked with shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners, cleaned brushes, aprons, dryers, and towels which makes bath times easy. The Preston Hwy location has the best set up for the baths in my option. Lastly, their home delivery service is THE BEST. I literally placed an order in the morning and it was delivered to my doorstep the very same afternoon. Delivery was free and I didn't have to carry two 50lbs of dog food in and out of my trunk. Typically delivery is next day in my past experiences, but still very fast. I would definitely recommend shopping at Feeders over big name pet stores and online options. And if you sign up for their newsletters you get special deals too.

6/4/22- Here's my review of Artisan Dog Training (Adam)…read more Adam spent 2-months on my Dutch Shepherd correcting problem areas & teaching good obedience.  Initially I wanted to focus on this and that for Cassie, but I was going about it the wrong way. Initially during a few 1-hr sessions, I saw Adam's mastery in action almost instantly.  I realized that  weekly 1-hr classes weren't cutting it, and that month-long bootcamps were MUCH better for my hyper Dutch Shepherd. She was hyper, wouldn't listen, had obedience issues, beginning to be destructive, and VERY unsocialized (frightened of people!).  Not good for a Dutch Shepherd puppy of 3-months!! During the 2-month bootcamp, Adam first established a framework to FOCUS my dog's attention by establishing trust & communication which doesn't happen overnight.  This takes time, but KEY to garner my dog's obedience. Once done, Adam was able to unlock my dog's potential & focus on obedience training for her to be a good citizen. These are the things Adam worked on with Cassie: - Corrected bad behavior (jumping, biting/nipping) - Basic Commands (come, heel, down, wait...etc) - On/off leash activities (verbal/non-verbal commands) - MAJOR work on socialization (people, dogs) My lack of understanding how to socialize my puppy had drastic effects on her.  She would cower behind me or pull away strongly when meeting strangers.  Fixing this took more than just going to PetSmart for socialization.  She needed to focus first, understand that strangers were normal.  Again, Adam worked pretty hard on this. Result: My hyper Dutch Shepherd was much more manageable, no longer jumped on me or would bite thinking it was play.  She also learned how to potty on command & her socialization improved GREATLY compared to before!  Now I have to do "my part" to reinforce this training & make this permanent.

Found these folks and loved they were flexible on whether our 11 lb herding dominant bordoodle was kept in kennel or group play ground - he doesn't always remember he's not big dog :-) They have live camera in group play area so you can check in on your dog too which gave us peace of mind. Day two our dog was greeted by name and he immediately pranced back and through door without looking back!

No groomers on Sunday which was fine as we would pick up around 12 PM on Sunday. Dogs were not groomed. My older dog had a spat of the runs and the waste was left to dry on him and sent home with us to clean him at home. At the price they charge I would expect much better care. If you love your pets I would recommend someplace else as they have lost the caring people they used to have and and attention to detail is also gone. Like I mentioned. I would recommend this tour to anyone; if you are a fan of the majestic Budweiser Clydesdales, this will be right up your alley!

I was on the hunt for a new collar for Henry, but nothing really caught my eye. They do have a pretty wide selection of collars and leashes, but most were basic colors and such. Although I buy dog food online, I did notice that they advertise that if you buy ten bags of dog food, the eleventh bag is free. I might have to consider this option the next time I'm running too low to wait on delivery. They have daily bath specials, which includes a bath, 10 minute blow dry/brush-out. On Sunday that price for a small dog is $10. Monday through Saturday the price is only a couple of bucks more.
